It is not just a top gaming token. It works as a base system that supports a full blockchain entertainment ecosystem. This includes games like Fableborne, along with future apps and digital products.
Since Power protocol listing on December 5, 2025, on big exchanges like Binance, Bitget, MEXC, BingX, LBank, and Bitunix, attention on the token has slowly grown, leading to today’s rally.
Let’s now look at the key reasons behind why $POWER crypto news is trending today

Why is Power Protocol Price Going Up Today? 3 Major Reasons

There isn’t just one reason for the Power Protocol price surge. According to on-chain data and recent announcements, it is actually a mix of four big things:

The Fableborne Partnership: The team confirmed they are expanding their distribution layer. A major new partner will join the ecosystem very soon to unlock on-chain experiences for millions of users.

The Scarcity Factor: There are 1 billion tokens in total, but only 210 million (21%) are circulating. Since 79% are locked, market supply is tight. When demand spikes, the price moves faster because there aren't many coins for sale.

Technical Reason: This rally is also pumped by technical recovery. After a healthy correction earlier this month, large whales stepped in to buy the asset.

Technical Price Chart Analysis: The "Cup and Handle" Indicator

If we look at the latest TradingView technical 2 hour chart, the asset’s structure is looking very healthy. The price is making higher lows, which also looks like a Cup and Handle pattern.

First, the price made a smooth bottom between $0.22 and $0.24 (the cup), then it moved sideways between $0.28 and $0.30 (the handle), which usually happens before a breakout.

RSI & MACD: The RSI near 58 shows buying strength but not overheating yet, so there is still room to move up. The MACD turning bullish means momentum is slowly shifting in favor of buyers.

Price Levels to Watch: Strong support sits between $0.28 and $0.25. If the price breaks above the $0.33 – $0.35 resistance zone, it could trigger a rapid move toward $0.40.

Will the Rally Survive? Power Protocol Price Prediction 2026

As per Coingabbar’s market research, and technical analysis, the $POWER price target for 2026 looks positive.

Bullish View: Long-term growth in Fableborne, and more studios joining the protocol could drive utility-based demand. This could push the price toward the $0.80 – $1.00 range during the next market cycle.

Bearish View: In early 2026, if the team begins major token unlocks for investors, and big holders decide to sell, it could create a "price dump towards $0.25.”

Conclusion

Today’s Power Protocol price surge is clearly a mix of ecosystem development, a tight supply of tokens, a bullish technical chart, as well as the increase in trading activity. Whether the rally continues to 2026 or not, the current chart favors the $1 breakout soon.
