The cryptocurrency market recorded mixed movements on December 21, with major digital assets trading in both positive and negative territory.
According to CoinMarketCap, as of 2:00 AM KST on December 21, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 0.21% to $88,136.74, while Ethereum (ETH) slipped 0.17% to $2,976.56. XRP (XRP) rose 1.99% to $1.92, and Dogecoin (DOGE) gained 0.48% to $0.1319. Solana (SOL) increased 0.23% to $126.40, while Avalanche (AVAX) edged down 0.38% to $12.28. Shiba Inu (SHIB) dropped 1.54% to $0.05744, Aptos (APT) declined 0.90% to $1.59, and Bittensor (TAO) fell 0.50% to $229.01.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Canton (CC) recorded the largest daily gain, surging 32.78%, while Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) posted the steepest decline, falling 2.84%.
Other notable altcoins included Obol (OBOL), which dropped 2.59% from the previous day to $0.02221, while Aleo (ALEO) surged 14.58% to $0.1239.
The newly listed cryptocurrency on CoinMarketCap within the past 24 hours was Unlimited Wealth Utility (UWU).
