The Coinbase report coincided with Ondo Finance’s announcement that it will be launching a tokenized stocks and ETF trading platform on the Solana blockchain, while the <a href="https://www.edel.finance/" data-wpel-link="external" rel="external noopener noreferrer sponsored">Edel Finance</a> testnet for its tokenized stock lending and borrowing solution also went live. They aim to create a transparent, efficient, and globally accessible securities lending layer that allows equities to be used as productive financial assets.&nbsp; The <a href="https://www.edel.finance/#ecosystem" data-wpel-link="external" rel="external noopener noreferrer sponsored">Edel ecosystem</a> integrates multiple financial networks and DeFi protocols, including Ondo Finance and Chainlink, to bring this vision to life. The team launched the Edel testnet on December 15, demonstrating how the platform will operate once fully deployed. Functionally, Edel can be viewed as an Aave-style lending market for equities.
