Bittensor's first halving event on December 14-15, 2025, will cut daily TAO token emissions from 7,200 to 3,600, aligning with Bitcoin's scarcity model.
The halving is crucial for TAO’s market dynamics, potentially increasing value, and is closely watched for its impact on decentralized AI service networks.
Bittensor's first halving event is scheduled for December 14-15, 2025, which will reduce the daily TAO emissions from 7,200 to 3,600 tokens. This milestone reflects Bitcoin's scarcity model, with no major updates for other queried tokens.
The halving is led by Bittensor's co-founders Ala Shaabana and Jacob Steeves, emphasizing decentralized systems and blockchain infrastructure. Analyst Will Ogden Moore notes, "We’ve seen in Bitcoin how decreasing supply strengthens the network’s value over time," paralleling Bitcoin's model.
The halving's immediate effect tightens TAO's supply, potentially increasing its value. Market projections suggest a price jump from the current $300 to $330-$520 if support maintains at $250-$265. No specific external funding is noted.
Financially, TAO's halving may influence market trends, much like past Bitcoin halvings. Crypto.com’s $20,000 ETH campaign for TAO gains during this period highlights community engagement. Technical adjustments reflect Bittensor's adherence to its fixed supply goal.
Bittensor's network currently operates 129 active subnets providing AI services like computing. The reduction in token issuance supports long-term scarcity-driven value appreciation, mirroring historical cryptocurrency trends.
Insights on Bittensor predict technological and investment shifts akin to Bitcoin's halving outcomes. Analysts expect long-term price appreciation and market stability. Regulatory inputs remain absent, keeping focus on internal protocol adjustments and Grayscale's optimistic outlook. Read original article on tokentopnews.com
