Imagine

Imagine sitting in the backseat of a ride-share car, noticing a family that immediately exudes wealth. Their clothes, manners, and conversation all reflect stability and long-term financial success. That’s the impression Jake Claver shares in his recent post aimed at XRP holders.
Claver explains that <a href="https://timestabloid.com/fox-business-journalist-says-you-are-probably-not-getting-rich-on-xrp/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">many wealthy individuals are not buying crypto to get richer.</a> They already have substantial wealth. Instead, they view crypto as a hedge — a way to protect their fortunes against economic instability and financial system risks.
<h2 id="b-the-rarity-of-xrp-ownership-b">The Rarity of XRP Ownership</h2>
XRP holders are far from common. There are roughly 7 million wallets on the XRP Ledger globally. Many of these wallets are small or belong to exchanges, reducing the number of individual owners significantly.

<a href="https://timestabloid.com/updated-xrp-rich-list-is-here-how-much-you-need-to-join-top-10-holders/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Only 663 wallets hold over 5 million XRP, highlighting a small, elite group.</a> To be in the top 1% of holders, one needs around 50,637 XRP, worth roughly $114,000 at current prices. Being an XRP holder is rarer than many realize, as Claver emphasizes.
<h2 id="b-crypto-as-a-hedge-not-a-gamble-b">Crypto as a Hedge, Not a Gamble</h2>
Claver’s perspective challenges the mainstream narrative of crypto as a tool for rapid wealth. For him and other high-net-worth investors, crypto serves as insurance. It protects against global financial risks, inflation, and currency devaluation.
Wealthy individuals focus on diversification. They spread their holdings across assets to ensure stability. XRP becomes one branch of a financial tree, safeguarding value if other investments falter.

<h2 id="b-the-wealth-tree-metaphor-b">The Wealth Tree Metaphor</h2>
Claver uses the metaphor of a tree to describe wealth. Planting seeds represents early investments. Nurturing them over the years builds a strong trunk — the core portfolio.
As the trunk grows, branches form. These represent diversification, shielding wealth from potential losses. Fruit-bearing branches symbolize long-term gains, achieved without risking the entire fortune.
<h2 id="b-lessons-for-everyday-xrp-holders-b">Lessons for Everyday XRP Holders</h2>
For retail investors, Claver’s advice encourages a shift in mindset. <a href="https://timestabloid.com/pundit-xrp-is-not-a-bet-anymore-its-a-blueprint-heres-why/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP should be viewed as a long-term strategic asset, not a speculative gamble.</a>
Holding XRP now positions individuals in a rare and potentially powerful cohort. Patience and disciplined investment may help secure a resilient financial future.
Jake Claver’s message is clear: wealth doesn’t require constant accumulation. You only need to get rich once, and then protect it wisely.
