The Cysic Foundation launched its airdrop eligibility checker on December 1, 2025, marking a key step in distributing tokens to early supporters of the project.
This move comes as Cysic continues to build its full-stack ComputeFi network, which converts computational hardware such as GPUs and ASICs into tradable, income-generating assets. Participants now have a limited window to confirm their status and register, ensuring they do not miss out on allocations tied to their contributions.

Airdrop Timeline and Overview

Registration for the airdrop began at 1 PM UTC on December 1, and will end at 1 PM UTC on December 7, 2025. Anyone who qualifies must complete the process within this seven-day period, or their potential allocation will be forfeited. The checker is accessible through the official site at https://register.cysicfoundation.org/.
According to the foundation's documentation, the airdrop targets those who have actively shaped Cysic's development, from community engagement to technical contributions. Allocations emphasize verifiable, sustained involvement rather than high-volume or short-term activity, aiming to resist manipulation like sybil attacks.
The distribution involves two tokens: $CYS, which serves as the network's utility token for operations, fees, and rewards, and $CGT, the governance token used for staking, voting, and validator roles. While exact allocation amounts per category remain undisclosed, the system allows users to accumulate rewards across multiple eligibility groups, provided they register each qualifying account separately.

What are the Eligibility Categories?

Cysic has outlined six main groups eligible for the airdrop, each based on specific forms of participation. Users can check against these criteria and connect relevant accounts during registration. Here is a breakdown:

Community Contributors: This includes early Discord members, known as OGs, who joined discussions, assisted others, and helped build the project's culture. Active members who offered consistent feedback and support also qualify. To register, connect a Discord account or the wallet linked to community activities.

Cysic CUBE Holders: Owners of Cysic Cube NFTs receive bonus allocations as a nod to their early investment in the network's growth. These holders have shown commitment to Cysic's vision of a tokenized compute economy. Registration requires the associated wallet, with further details on Cube-specific rewards expected in a separate announcement.

Testnet Participants: Those involved in Cysic's testnet phases from July 2024 onward are rewarded for their feedback and computational contributions. This covers Phase I verifiers from the initial limited launch, Phase II Genesis Node holders who acted as provers or verifiers, and Phase III Ignition participants who earned Fire Points through node operations and staking. Use the wallet address from testnet involvement to register.

Developers: Contributors to open-source projects in zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) and cryptography, such as iden3/snarkjs, scipr-lab/libsnark, or arkworks-rs/curves, are eligible if they have at least one valid commit. The foundation evaluated contributions to these repositories to ensure genuine impact. Developers should connect their GitHub account associated with the work.

X-Affiliates, Partners, and Ecosystem Supporters: This category honors collaborators who expanded Cysic's reach, including affiliates from protocols like @aztecnetwork, @zksync, @taikoxyz, and @SuccinctLabs, as well as investors such as @polychain and @HashKey_Capital. Public-goods supporters and key influencers in crypto also qualify. Register via an X (formerly Twitter) account or affiliated wallet.

Kaito Yappers: Members of the Kaito community who amplified Cysic's message through insights, staking, or consistent engagement on social media fall here. Eligible users connect their X account linked to a Kaito profile.

How Can User Register for the Airdrop?

Interested participants can register via the following steps:

Visit the official eligibility checker at https://register.cysicfoundation.org/.

Connect accounts based on your categories: Discord or wallet for community; wallet for testnet or Cube holders; GitHub for developers; X or wallet for affiliates and Kaito.

Review the eligibility tier displayed by the system, which automatically verifies across groups.

Confirm the registration, verifying all connected accounts and the receiving wallet address. Complete this before the December 7 deadline.

Tokens will be claimable at the token generation event (TGE), details of which have not yet been announced. The foundation stresses that registration is mandatory for any claims.

As noted, $CYS handles practical network functions like node operations and rewards, while $CGT focuses on governance and staking. This dual-token model supports Cysic's decentralized compute ecosystem, where participants can stake $CGT to earn more $CYS or convert between them for additional yields, as highlighted in earlier testnet updates.
The foundation warns users to stick to the official link and avoid any unsolicited messages. They will never request private keys, offer special whitelists, or contact individuals via DMs. Any suspicious activity should be verified through Cysic's verified channels, such as their X handle @cysic_xyz or foundation documentation.

Looking Ahead: Roadmap and Community Updates

Cysic's progress extends beyond the airdrop. In late October, the project unveiled its roadmap, detailing three interconnected layers to advance verifiable compute. The Cysic ZK layer provides hardware acceleration for ZK and AI tasks, promising 10x faster proofs at lower costs. The Network layer coordinates provers, verifiers, and clients in a decentralized marketplace. Finally, the Miner layer offers plug-and-play hardware for anyone to contribute and earn from compute tasks.
Adding to this momentum, Cysic has scheduled a community AMA on December 4, at 12:30 UTC. The session, hosted live on X Spaces, is set to include an important update, potentially shedding light on mainnet timelines or further ecosystem developments.
This airdrop serves as a bridge between Cysic's testnet achievements and its broader ambitions in ComputeFi. With registration underway, eligible users have a clear path to secure their share, while the project's ongoing initiatives point to continued growth in decentralized computing.
