Veteran market strategist Tom Lee is doubling down on Ethereum ($ETH), signaling continued optimism for the crypto’s future. Lee, the co-founder of Fundstrat Global Advisors, believes Ethereum will enter a bullish phase by 2026, and he’s backing that belief with action—continuing to buy the asset.

His confidence comes at a time when institutional interest appears to be growing. This week alone, Bitmine wallets have seen $44.3 million in Ethereum inflows. Even more notably, weekly purchases have reached a staggering $185.6 million, suggesting that large investors are accumulating ETH ahead of a potential long-term breakout.

The recent inflows into Bitmine wallets are not random. Bitmine, known for managing substantial institutional holdings, is often seen as a bellwether for big-money crypto moves. When these wallets show heavy accumulation—like the $185.6 million in ETH this week—it often reflects broader market sentiment.

With Ethereum’s upcoming developments, including continued Layer 2 rollouts and future scalability improvements, the network is poised for growth. Lee’s bullish outlook on 2026 may align with the broader market anticipating Ethereum’s stronger performance as adoption increases.

Tom Lee’s track record and the strong buying signals from Bitmine could be early indicators of Ethereum’s future trajectory. While short-term volatility remains, the growing inflows and institutional buying suggest that smart money is positioning itself ahead of a potential multi-year rally.

Investors looking at the long-term potential of Ethereum may find this an opportune time to reassess their holdings. With Ethereum’s roadmap advancing and support from influential market players like Lee, 2026 could indeed be a defining year for the crypto giant.
