Bitwise Asset Management has announced the launch of the Bitwise Avalanche Staking ETP, focusing on the European market, with securities to be set on Deutsche Börse Xetra.
This launch highlights the increasing institutional interest in staking-enabled crypto products, enhancing Avalanche's market position and resulting in an approximately 6.7% rise in AVAX token value.
Bitwise Asset Management has launched the Avalanche Staking ETP on Deutsche Börse Xetra, which ties staking and price exposure. The ETF proposal, filed with the US SEC, lists the product under ticker BAVA.
The initiative involves Bitwise Asset Management and features Bradley Duke and John Wu promoting traditional investment pathways to Avalanche. The ETF will track AVAX price while integrating staking rewards.

Industry participants welcomed Bitwise’s integration of staking in ETFs, offering both price exposure and staking rewards. This innovative approach led to a 7% increase in AVAX prices post-announcement.
Analysts foresee broader market adoption of regulated crypto products through proven models established by Bitwise and similar prior launches. Stakeholder sentiments remain optimistic about increased institutional engagement. John Wu, President, Ava Labs, said, "Bitwise is helping open the door for traditional investors to engage with Avalanche in a way that feels familiar to them. Access through established market structures provides another path into the ecosystem... We welcome efforts that make it easier for new participants to connect with the technology and contribute to Avalanche's growth."

Bitwise’s previous success with Ethereum staking ETPs establishes a strong precedent. Regulatory filing processes mirror strategies employed by rivals like VanEck.
Experts from Kanalcoin predict these efforts could facilitate influxes of institutional capital, as seen with Bitwise’s ETH staking ETP, which exceeded $300 million in assets. Bradley Duke, Head of Europe, Bitwise, remarked, "We're incredibly excited to be launching the Bitwise Avalanche Staking ETP, which opens the door for investors to access exposure to price movements in AVAX coupled with staking rewards through an exchange-traded total return product."
