Arise marks the second major title in the Cross The Ages (CTA) ecosystem, expanding the universe beyond stories and trading card combat into a fully immersive, real-time multiplayer experience. CTA and Animoca Brands formed a strategic partnership back in 2021, with Animoca now supporting the official launch of Arise and the broader CTA ecosystem through its expertise in blockchain gaming, tokenomics, and market strategy. In addition, Animoca Brands has begun acquiring CTA tokens from the open market to reinforce the project’s long-term vision and stability.
This free-to-play multiplayer action RPG is set within the CTA universe. The game combines dungeon exploration, PvP combat, resource gathering, and trading, offering players the freedom to choose their role as a fighter, builder, or strategist. Players can explore dungeons at their own pace in Exploration Mode or compete for ranking in Competition Mode, confronting traps, enemies, and bosses that test skill and coordination. that focuses on resource collection, crafting, and trading, meaning that player decisions contribute to a broader in-game ecosystem and community.
Arise builds upon CTA’s vision of a transmedia ecosystem, a universe focused across multiple creative and technological pillars that intertwine to create an immersive experience. Featuring literature, where digital and physical books lay the foundation of CTA’s lore, and animation, which expands the universe through storytelling, every element contributes to a cohesive narrative. Through interoperable games, players experience a connected world where assets and characters move fluidly between titles, while merchandising bridges the gap between the virtual and physical realms. Real-life events and competitions bring the global CTA community together through live tournaments and conventions, uniting fans in both digital and physical spaces under one evolving universe.
Building upon the success of Cross The Ages: Blast, the collectible CTA card game that has sold over 40 million digital cards, Arise is the next phase in CTA’s mission to bridge Web2 and Web3 gaming through immersive, interoperable experiences.
Players can add Arise to their <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/3814170/Cross_The_Ages_Arise/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">wishlist</a> on Steam, or can try the game exclusively through Epic Games store <a href="https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/arise-arise-closed-alpha-1-8562dc" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">here</a>.
