Modulr

The year is 2045.

Most homes have 1-2 robots each: one for cleaning/cooking, one for repair

Construction sites have zero humans

Farms are 99% automated

Hospitals run with AI triage + robotic surgeons

Warehouses are fully autonomous from factory to doorstep

The robotics entertainment industry (drone racing, battle royales, Sims-style physical metaverse, and so on) is fully mainstream

To build this kind of world—one where robots can improve individual lives and entire industries—we need to establish a universal connection layer between all of the moving parts.
We named it Modulr (modular) precisely because of all the complexity that goes into robotic systems. It requires specially designed hardware, software that learns and gets better over time, power, compute power, data collection mechanisms, data storage, safety override controls, communication/connectivity protocols, maintenance, and so much more. Each of these factors is a different choice to make.
Now consider making these robotic systems user-friendly and accessible to anyone in the world. 😵‍💫
The ONLY way we tackle a challenge of this scale is via a blockchain solution.
This is Modulr's vision—a decentralized, peer-to-peer, modular network that makes robotics accessible to everyone.
Here's how Modulr unlocks the future:

Remote Operation

Being able to remotely rent & operate a robot/robotic system will be a seismic unlock for humanity. It's Airbnb for robots.
Remote teleoperation enables skilled workers to operate drones, warehouse bots, or inspection devices from anywhere by streaming low-latency control through Modulr, letting businesses cut on-site labor and travel costs while every session generates data that trains smarter automation.
Robot providers will be able to rent out their idle fleets, earning money and (if agreed upon) collect data to train better models. This will combine with Modulr’s Tokenized Routines Marketplace, where robotics workflows can be shared and sold.
Additionally, as more and more robot startups are coming on the market, this also affords them an opportunity to reach more customers via a "try before you buy" approach.

Modularity

As mentioned, robotic systems are complex and often hyper-specialized. Modulr allows users to launch their own mini-blockchains (called co-chains) tailored to specific use cases like robotics and embodied AI applications, delivering the customizability required for the robotics-enabled economy.
Each co-chain acts as a micro-economy within Modulr’s broader ecosystem.
The robotics co-chain powers physical machines. The AI co-chain provides intelligence and inference. The data co-chain manages telemetry and storage. And each one feeds into the other—creating a living, composable infrastructure for the global robot economy.
Together, these networks form a foundation for the next generation of connected systems—where every layer of robotics, AI, and data coordination can evolve independently, yet remain fully interoperable.
Modulr will launch co-chains internally first, ensuring every network operates at the standard of performance, security, and interoperability required for real-world systems. Once these foundational networks mature, the same tools will be made available for external developers and organizations to deploy their own co-chain.
The possibilities are endless—by design.

P2P Data Markets

Data is the currency of the future. AI runs off of data, and robot manufacturers and startups alike are hungry for better trained robots. Thus, any data that is collected by robots on our network can be packaged and sold or shared with anyone else on the network.
This is especially attractive for AI companies looking to break into the physical AI space, data providers who are sorely lacking legitimate robotics/swarm/telemetry data, or early adopters looking to keep their robots on the cutting edge.
This open sharing of data will lead to the ultimate end goal, which is autonomous, remote operation. Think: "Hey robot, go to the store and pick up some groceries for lasagna tonight."

Final Words

The real power of this vision is in the decentralization of it. We can't compete with Tesla's budget, but by building a platform that anyone, anywhere in the world can contribute to (and earn from), we can outwork them. Blockchain networks provide equal, fair access for anyone. Validator systems reward good behavior and punish bad actors without a centralized entity to create bottlenecks or cause tribalism between companies.
It's an open invite to anyone who wants to provide value and be rewarded for it.
Our team is actively working to onboard any entity that touches robotics to the $eMDR/$MDR ecosystem. If you're a provider of compute, AI infrastructure, data storage/services, robots, robot education (universities, platforms), or hardware, we want to help you access more customers/users. Send us a DM.💌
After a successful token launch and building a strong community of initial supporters (>4,000 holders!) our team has been making some big changes to prepare us for scaling. We've hired a new CEO to oversee business and marketing strategy while doubling down on our core technology stack. We're hiring more developers and engineers. We're investing in our own fleet of Modulr robots. And, we're actively onboarding new partners to improve our offering.
If you align with our vision, reach out and build the future with us.
