Gradients

Today, it’s worth $2-4 billion. By 2030, it’s expected to skyrocket to $12-20 billion.

Gradients are at the centre of this huge opportunity, making AI smarter, faster, and affordable for all types of businesses and users.

Key Achievements so far

2,900+ jobs completed since launch.

200+ individual miners competing globally.

45% average boost in performance from winning scripts.

52% of users become repeat customers after their first attempt.

100% success rate, beating major AI platforms like HuggingFace and Google Cloud in tests.

$9-30 billion spent annually on ML engineers doing fine-tuning work.

We automate it at 60-80% cost reduction.

With 11-42% better performance.

The labor replacement opportunity is massive, and we’re just getting started.

The Challenge

Custom AI models cost a fortune:

Hiring top machine learning engineers costs between $ 150,000 and $ 500,000 per person annually.

AutoML platforms offer cheap but weak “one-size-fits-all” options. Gradients solves this with a revolutionary competitive tournament model.

The LLM post-training market: $2-4B today, $12-20B by 2030.

Enterprises face an impossible choice: hire ML engineers at $150k-500k each, or accept mediocre AutoML results.

Gradients solves this.

Created by Rayon Labs, the flagship product is innovative

AI “miners” submit training scripts.

Scripts battle through group rounds, knockouts, and a final boss challenge.

Winners’ scripts become open source and power all client AI jobs.

Everyone benefits from the best-performing solutions.

Why does Decentralised AI Model Training Matter?

Enterprises save $20K to $1 million+ yearly by switching from expensive custom builds to Gradients

Startups save 10-20k/year while getting better AI quality than standard AutoML

Users get open, transparent AI code, not locked-down models controlled by tech giants

Below is an example of an image created by training a Gradients Model.

Final Thoughts

Gradients is just getting started! Models are still getting trained. It is not yet ready for full-blown retail, which wants to generate images, but it’s for now perfecting itself. The success of this project will depend on the participation of people

You can still participate, but you will need some TAO to train. More on that in the upcoming articles.
