Maple, the largest onchain asset manager, with over $5 billion in assets under management, has integrated Bitpulse’s risk underwriting technology into its operations to advance institutional-grade risk management and transparency. The integration enhances Maple’s ability to monitor, assess, and manage risk in real time, reinforcing its position as the standard for disciplined, data-driven asset management in decentralized finance.
Founded by a team of former Google, Coinbase, and Anchorage Digital leaders, Bitpulse delivers institutional-grade risk systems for onchain finance.
In the first phase of the collaboration, Maple has embedded Bitpulse’s analytics and reporting suite into its credit and operations workflows. The tools provide continuous visibility into portfolio health and exposure, enabling Maple to quantify risk instantly and make data-backed underwriting decisions. This allows Maple’s credit teams to act on actionable intelligence, strengthen internal controls, and improve portfolio performance through precise, model-driven insights.

“Bitpulse helps us elevate our portfolio management toolkit with best-in-class risk metrics,” said Luke Farrell, Head of Trading and Originations at Maple. “It improves our underwriting and risk monitoring, which ultimately enhances efficiency and risk adjusted performance for Maple and its clients.”

By integrating Bitpulse’s infrastructure, Maple is setting a new benchmark for operational rigor and transparency in DeFi. The move expands Maple’s risk management framework to match institutional standards while maintaining the openness and programmability of blockchain-based finance. It also lays the groundwork for broader market confidence by demonstrating how onchain asset managers can embed verifiable risk oversight directly into protocol operations.
The company’s platform aggregates onchain activity, borrower wallet data, and offchain financial indicators to generate continuous risk scoring, exposure mapping, and stress test simulations. Through seamless API integration, credit teams can automate underwriting checks and surface alerts before market conditions shift.
Bitpulse’s methodology applies traditional financial frameworks such as Value-at-Risk (VaR) and scenario analysis to tokenized credit markets. The platform’s modular design supports internal monitoring and public transparency dashboards, helping institutions demonstrate solvency and accountability to lenders and regulators.
The collaboration aligns with Maple’s broader mission to bring institutional discipline to onchain finance. By combining advanced analytics with blockchain transparency, Maple continues to drive the evolution of onchain asset management toward a more resilient, compliant, and trusted ecosystem.

“Together with Maple, we’re creating a pathway for institutions to safely engage in blockchain-based credit markets,” said Or Sivan, Co-Founder and CEO of Bitpulse. “By integrating Bitpulse’s onchain data feeds, configurable risk-simulation engine, and continuous monitoring capabilities, this partnership protects Maple’s loans across their lifecycle; from loan origination and underwriting to ongoing monitoring. It’s a step toward a transparent, permissionless financial system where participation is safer and more efficient for everyone.”

The integration marks a pivotal advancement for the onchain asset management industry, reinforcing Maple’s role in defining best practices for institutional risk management and bridging the standards of traditional finance with the innovation of decentralized markets.
