Another ICO (Initial Coin Offering) is upon us. Lately, the ICOs have been launching at a high valuation.

Is Solomon the same? What should you look out for? Let’s find out.

What is Solomon Labs?

Solomon Labs is building a user-owned stablecoin infrastructure. The project is structured for a self-sustaining yield. Yield has been the key attraction of DeFi. Remember 1000% APY from various Olympus DAO forks?

Solomon could have easily raised venture capital, picked ownership coin instead for the potential distribution effects

The problem with such APY is that it is not sustainable. This is exactly what happened with Terra UST, offering a fixed 18-20% yield. Unsustainably high APY means the system will collapse one day. So, self-sustainable yield is too important in crypto.

Solomon has already run a year-long mainnet beta with seven-figure TVL, distributed real yield (~25% APY annualized), and integrated custody, audits, and operational safeguards. In other words, Solomon has a proven product. MetaDAO is offering the SOLO ICO.

What is MetaDAO?

MetaDAO is a standardized on-chain launch and governance protocol.

All contributors receive identical allocations.

Treasury operations and unlocks are transparent; no discretionary control or “soft rugs.”

Teams earn tokens only as value accrues.

MetaDAO aims to restore first-principles ownership in crypto—broad distribution, transparent incentives, and verifiable execution.

MetaDAO’s history shows a pattern of oversubscription and generally stable early-stage performance.

Conclusion — Should You Participate in the Sale?

Participation in the Solomon Labs ICO is a good move if you are bullish on the stablecoin infrastructure narrative. However, with the collapse of Stream Finance, the narrative is a risky one.

Nevertheless, Solomon has

Proven product and audited yield engine already operating on mainnet.

Transparent and performance-linked token structure with zero insider pre-allocation.

On-chain treasury and capped operating budget

Alignment between token value, system adoption, and yield performance.

It is up to you whether you want to participate or not.

If you are bullish on stablecoin, then SOLO is a good bet at such low market caps.

If you are a cautious investor, then better to stay away from microcaps and ICOs.
