🔎 What is @x402scan ?
► X402 is not just a token, but a protocol + payment infrastructure for agents (AI agents, API servers, web services).
► It enables agents to automatically pay for resources such as compute, inference, data, or API calls.
► The goal is to build a decentralized marketplace for “machine-to-machine commerce” – meaning AI or machines can transact with each other autonomously without human intermediaries.
🛠️ Core Components
1. x402 Token
► The unit of payment within the ecosystem.
► Used to pay for inference, API calls, and server resources.
2. Facilitators
► Nodes/intermediaries that process x402 transactions.
► Ensure fast, cheap, and transparent transfers between agents and servers.
3. Bazaar / Marketplace
► A listing space for servers (e.g., APIs, AI models, data services).
► Agents can discover, purchase, and use services instantly with x402.
4. x402scan (x402scan .com)
► A block explorer + analytics dashboard.
► Displays transaction counts, volume, buyers/sellers, top servers, and facilitators.
► Lets users track who is selling what, who is buying, and how x402 flows through the system.
📊 Key Metrics (from x402scan)
► ~449K transactions / 24h
► Around $360K volume / 24h
► Over 38K buyers and 13K sellers active
► Popular servers include: api .canza .app, 402coin .xyz, x402 .arvos .xyz
🌐 Significance in Web3 / DeFi
► If Ethereum is the “world computer” for smart contracts, x402 is the marketplace for AI agents.
► It enables a decentralized AI-as-a-Service model, where anyone can:
▹ List an AI/API service.
▹ Allow other agents to purchase and use it instantly.
► This is a major step in the DeAI (Decentralized AI) movement – combining blockchain, AI, and open marketplaces.
👉 In short: x402 is a payment protocol and marketplace for AI agents, while x402scan is the explorer that tracks all activity in this ecosystem
