Strategy Inc. reported a Q3 2025 net profit of $2.8 billion, fueled by Bitcoin gains, but saw its mNAV premium plummet to an 18-month low.

The shift highlights growing market doubt about Bitcoin-centric strategies, impacting Strategy's share value and investor confidence as Bitcoin’s rally diminishes momentum.

Strategy Inc., previously MicroStrategy, reported a $2.8 billion profit in Q3 2025 due to unrealized gains from its Bitcoin holdings, amid waning investor enthusiasm.

The profit surge reflects Bitcoin's Q3 value increase; however, reduced investor interest led to the mNAV premium plummeting to 1.3×, an 18-month low.

Michael Saylor, Chairman of Strategy Inc., has transformed the company into a prominent Bitcoin holder. Market conditions saw the mNAV premium fall, signaling reduced investor enthusiasm for paying premiums on Bitcoin-backed shares.

Strategy Inc.'s Q3 income, primarily driven by its extensive Bitcoin reserves, starkly contrasts the $340 million loss from the previous year. Saylor's focus remains on expanding credit securities internationally.

Bitcoin Enthusiasm Decline Impacts Market Confidence

The drop in mNAV premium to 1.3× reflects a decline in market confidence as Bitcoin's rally fades. Revenues from the core software business remain less significant, pressuring the company's financial strategy.

Bitcoin's role as the primary asset, despite its market volatility, underscores Strategy Inc.'s financial outlook. Saylor's aggressive accumulation strategy faces scrutiny as investor sentiment diminishes.

Investor Sentiment Wanes Amid Bitcoin Volatility

Previous downturns in Bitcoin's value have impacted Strategy Inc.'s financials, with similar declines paralleling in 2022 and 2023. These trends underline the volatility inherent in corporate Bitcoin holdings.

Future outcomes hinge on Bitcoin market fluctuations. Historical precedent indicates investor sentiment may further erode if Bitcoin's value continues to stagnate or decline.
