Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. (DJT) stock is experiencing significant premarket gains on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, following a major announcement that positions the company at the forefront of a rapidly emerging industry. The stock surged over 6% in early trading after the company unveiled plans to launch the first social media-integrated prediction markets platform through an exclusive partnership with Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA), a CFTC-registered exchange.

This strategic move comes as prediction markets gain mainstream traction, with major financial exchanges like CME Group and Intercontinental Exchange also eyeing the space. The initiative represents a bold expansion of Trump Media’s platform capabilities beyond traditional social media and streaming services.

Truth Predict: First Social Media Platform with Embedded Prediction Markets

Trump Media announced that Truth Social will become “the world’s first social media platform to offer its users technology to access embedded prediction markets capabilities” through the new “Truth Predict” product, powered by an exclusive arrangement with Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA).

Users will be able to trade prediction contracts on diverse events including political elections, interest rate changes, commodity prices for gold and crude oil, and outcomes across major sports leagues. The integration with CDNA ensures federal compliance while providing real-time price updates, allowing users to react instantly to developments in major current events.

CEO Devin Nunes emphasized that with “more than $3 billion in financial assets as of the end of the second quarter, and having posted our first quarter of positive operating cash flow after going public just last year, Trump Media is well-positioned to leverage our strong balance sheet and existing social media capabilities to create a new standard for access to prediction market platforms.” The partnership comes as prediction markets experience unprecedented growth, with Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek noting that “prediction markets are poised to be a multi-deca-billion dollar industry.”

Truth Social users who have earned Truth gems through platform engagement will be able to convert these rewards into Cronos (CRO) digital currency and apply them toward purchasing Truth Predict contracts. The service will begin beta testing in the near future before a full U.S. launch, with global expansion planned once regulatory requirements are met.

DJT Stock Spikes in Premarket as Investors React to New Expansion Plan

As of 9:06:52 AM EDT on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, DJT stock was trading at $16.69 in premarket, up $0.66 or 4.12% from the previous close of $16.03. The stock had closed Monday’s regular session at $16.03, up 1.20% from the prior day’s close of $15.84.

The premarket surge reflects strong investor enthusiasm for the company’s strategic expansion into prediction markets, representing a significant positive catalyst for a stock that has faced considerable headwinds throughout 2025.

However, the recent gains come against a backdrop of substantial long-term volatility for Trump Media shares. The stock has declined 52.99% year-to-date and is down 58.84% over the past year, with a 52-week range of $15.40 to $54.68. The company currently maintains a market capitalization of approximately $4.486 billion with a high beta of 4.64, indicating significant price volatility relative to the broader market.

Despite these challenges, Trump Media reported over $3 billion in cash reserves and achieved its first quarter of positive operating cash flow, providing financial stability to support new initiatives like Truth Predict. The company trades at a trailing P/E ratio of 178.11 with minimal revenue of $3.72 million (TTM), reflecting its early-stage commercial operations as it continues to expand its platform ecosystem.
