Crypto analyst Steph Is Crypto has issued a strong technical signal for XRP, describing the current market setup as one of the most significant weekly chart formations seen in recent months.
His latest video analysis draws attention to an oversold condition on the stochastic RSI, a momentum indicator widely used to identify potential reversal points.
According to Steph, the pattern currently flashing on XRP’s weekly timeframe has consistently preceded substantial upward movements in the past.

Historical Context of the Indicator

Steph’s analysis traces the behavior of the stochastic RSI back to the bear market low of June 2022. On several occasions since then, the indicator has dropped into what he describes as the “green zone,” typically between seven and eight on the stochastic scale. All these instances, he notes, have been followed by notable price rebounds when the signal transitioned from oversold to overbought territory.
The analyst reviewed prior examples, including oversold signals in May 2022, January 2023, September 2023, January 2024, and July 2024. In every case, the same technical condition preceded a marked rise in XRP’s price.
These movements ranged from roughly 40% to over 50% gains during the periods when the stochastic RSI climbed from its lower range to levels above 90, which he identifies as the point where investors typically take profits.

The Current Market Signal

Steph notes that the stochastic RSI on the weekly chart has once again entered the oversold zone, indicating what he considers a potential buy opportunity. He emphasized that this setup has historically provided highly accurate signals when viewed over long-term timeframes. Based on his interpretation, the present conditions suggest a possibility for XRP to move significantly higher within the coming weeks.
He further mentioned that if the pattern continues to follow historical behavior, the market could witness a strong recovery from current price levels. The analyst referenced a potential upside projection of $2.46, reflecting his expectation of how far XRP could rise should the indicator’s trend play out similarly to previous cycles.

Outlook and Caution

While Steph’s findings highlight a strong technical argument for optimism, it remains important to note that no indicator guarantees market outcomes. Historical patterns, while instructive, can diverge under new market conditions influenced by changes in liquidity, macroeconomic developments, or shifts in regulatory sentiment.
Nonetheless, the current oversold signal, combined with its consistent accuracy in past cycles, has drawn considerable attention from those tracking XRP’s medium-term technical prospects.
Steph’s analysis ultimately positions this moment as a potential turning point for XRP’s price trajectory, contingent on whether the market continues to respect the recurring patterns identified on the weekly timeframe.
