As 2025 nears, the spotlight falls on three major names: BlockDAG, Ripple (XRP), and Near Protocol (NEAR). Each represents a unique aspect of the changing crypto landscape. BlockDAG (BDAG) is racing toward Genesis Day with a $10 long-term forecast, Ripple is expanding its corporate network through institutional partnerships, and NEAR is maintaining solid support levels after a recent price dip.

BlockDAG’s presale success and launch anticipation have placed it among the best cryptos for 2025, while XRP’s rising institutional traction continues to strengthen its relevance. NEAR, despite short-term pressure, remains technically stable, holding within its support area and preparing for a potential rebound once buying strength returns.

Together, these projects highlight how practical adoption, growing infrastructure, and strategic growth are shaping the next phase of the crypto market as 2025 approaches.

NEAR Displays Strength as Market Pressure Softens

After a 7.5% pullback, Near Protocol (NEAR) is showing stability around the $2.17–$2.20 support range. The token currently trades below its major moving averages, MA-20 ($2.68), MA-50 ($2.69), and MA-200 ($2.55), confirming ongoing bearish sentiment across several timeframes. However, oversold readings like RSI (25.24) and CCI (–130.72) suggest a possible pause in the selling phase.

Analysts predict sideways price movement between $2.34 and $2.67, noting that a breakout above $2.39 would be key for a short-term bullish signal. Traders Union’s Anton Kharitonov remains cautious but points to potential upside supported by NEAR’s AI integrations and technical upgrades.

For now, NEAR’s ability to defend its support is seen as a positive technical indicator. If momentum returns, it could emerge as one of the strongest comeback plays among altcoins, especially for those exploring the best crypto for 2025 with real progress and consistent development.

Ripple Strengthens Market Position with $1 Billion Treasury

Ripple’s plan to create a $1 billion digital-asset treasury has reignited confidence in Ripple (XRP) and its growing institutional appeal. The initiative, expected to run through a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), will accumulate more XRP and expand corporate participation. Ripple also intends to move part of its 4.74 billion XRP holdings, worth over $11 billion, into this new treasury.

This follows Ripple’s $1 billion acquisition of GTreasury, which is now enabling corporations to adopt blockchain tools for liquidity and treasury management. Analysts believe this move reinforces XRP’s long-term utility, strengthening its position as a settlement asset in global finance. Despite market caution, XRP has gained 13% in 2025, outperforming several leading altcoins.

As institutional use grows, Ripple continues to evolve from a payment platform into a global liquidity facilitator, a transformation that supports its inclusion among the best cryptos for 2025. If the treasury initiative proceeds as expected, it could expand XRP’s liquidity network and reinforce its reputation as a dependable choice for enterprise adoption.

BlockDAG’s $10 Ambition Builds Momentum Ahead of Genesis Day

While XRP and NEAR are consolidating their positions, BlockDAG continues to surge ahead as one of the most widely discussed projects in the crypto scene. Priced at $0.0015 in Batch 31, the presale has raised over $432 million, selling more than 27 billion BDAG coins and gathering a growing base of over 312,000 holders across the globe. More than 20,000 hardware miners have already been sold, and the X1 mobile miner app now counts 3.5 million users, signaling strong real-world adoption before its official launch.

The countdown to Genesis Day marks the defining moment when BlockDAG transitions from presale to full network activation. Central to its design is the hybrid PoW + DAG architecture, which merges scalability and security to reach speeds of up to 15,000 transactions per second while remaining EVM-compatible. With its upgraded Dashboard V4 and the powerful Awakening Testnet, BlockDAG continues to strengthen trust and confidence throughout the crypto space.

BlockDAG is also set to go LIVE on Binance for an exclusive AMA this Friday, October 24, at 3 PM UTC, one of its most important global appearances to date. The event will share insider updates, roadmap announcements, and crucial insights ahead of Keynote 4: The Launch Note and GENESIS DAY. The AMA is expected to capture major attention as BlockDAG outlines what’s next for its $432M+ ecosystem. Participants can use the code “TGE” to enhance their earnings before the upcoming dashboard upgrade and price rise, with BDAG still available at $0.0015 in Batch 31. Time is running out as this milestone event could ignite the next surge of momentum.

Experts project BDAG could hit $0.05 upon listing, with long-term price expectations between $1 and $10 or higher depending on adoption and exchange traction. The project’s combination of reliable infrastructure, strong community, and steady execution has solidified its place among the best crypto for 2025. As Genesis Day draws closer, excitement keeps growing, powered by BlockDAG’s consistent progress and its roadmap to becoming a leading Layer-1 powerhouse.

The Bottom Line

As the countdown to Genesis Day continues, BlockDAG remains in focus after raising over $432 million, engaging 3.5 million miners, and maintaining a long-term $10 target. Its robust framework and flawless presale execution have firmly positioned it among the best cryptos for 2025. Meanwhile, Ripple moves forward with its billion-dollar institutional treasury plan, and Near Protocol maintains its critical support zone despite market volatility.

Together, these projects showcase how innovation, enterprise expansion, and technical resilience are shaping the crypto space. With Genesis Day on the horizon, BlockDAG’s consistent progress reinforces a key message for 2025: true performance and transparency are what define the next generation of market leaders.
