Silicon Valley, USA – BitsLab Announces Acquisition of Japan-Based Web3 Infrastructure Company KEKKAI Labs’ Product “KEKKAI Plugin” (Security Browser Extension), Renaming It as BitsLab Safe
&nbsp;
KEKKAI Labs is a Japanese technology team specializing in Web3 security and infrastructure development, dedicated to providing crypto users with transaction protection and phishing detection services. Its core product, KEKKAI Plugin, has earned strong user feedback and a high adoption rate across Japan and the broader Asian market, making it one of the region’s most recognized Web3 user security tools.
&nbsp;
Through this acquisition, BitsLab will retain the existing security features and user base of KEKKAI Plugin while introducing its own AI-driven security analysis and threat detection capabilities, further expanding and upgrading the product’s functions and intelligence.
&nbsp;
This integration enables BitsLab to provide real-time risk identification and protection during user transactions, significantly improving browser-level security experience and defense efficiency. It also marks BitsLab’s official expansion from its established focus on Web3 enterprise (B2B) security services to consumer (B2C) security, forming a more complete protection system that spans from underlying infrastructure to end users.

<h2 id="bitslab-safe-an-ai-powered-web3-security-browser-extension">BitsLab Safe: An AI-Powered Web3 Security Browser Extension</h2>
&nbsp;
Following the acquisition, BitsLab officially renamed KEKKAI Plugin as BitsLab Safe and announced plans to enhance the existing foundation with its proprietary AI-powered analysis and threat detection technologies, aiming to build a more intelligent Web3 user security protection system.
&nbsp;
BitsLab Safe is a free browser security extension designed for everyday users. Before any wallet transaction (e.g., via Metamask) is executed, the plugin automatically simulates the transaction process, previews the result, and issues warnings when detecting malicious contracts or risky operations—helping users effectively avoid asset losses.
&nbsp;
Core Features: 🚨 Phishing Site Protection &amp; Alerts – Automatically identifies phishing and scam websites and blocks user access. 📈 Transaction Simulation &amp; Risk Detection – Simulates transactions before execution to reveal potential risks in advance. 📊 Community-Driven Security Database – Users can report scams, update real-time risk data, and enhance collective protection levels.
&nbsp;
BitsLab stated that after completing the acquisition and brand integration, BitsLab Safe will become a key component of its AI security ecosystem, providing Web3 users with a more intelligent, real-time, and transparent security experience, and contributing to building a decentralized internet where everyone can use Web3 safely and confidently.

<h2 id="from-b2b-to-b2c-strategic-upgrade-of-bitslab-s-security-landscape">From B2B to B2C: Strategic Upgrade of BitsLab’s Security Landscape</h2>
&nbsp;
Since its founding, BitsLab has focused on security auditing, penetration testing, and vulnerability research, offering professional protection services for leading global Web3 projects across ecosystems such as Sui, Aptos, TON, Linea, BNB Chain, and Solana.
&nbsp;
To date, BitsLab has delivered security solutions to over 400 projects, audited more than 400,000 lines of code, safeguarded over $8 billion in assets, and served more than 2 million Web3 users worldwide.
&nbsp;
Beyond standard audits, BitsLab’s team has also achieved remarkable results in penetration testing and vulnerability research. The team has won multiple awards in international CTF competitions and discovered numerous critical and high-severity vulnerabilities across major public blockchains and protocols such as TON, Aptos, Sui, OKX, Nervos, and Cosmos, assisting officials in timely remediation and gaining wide industry recognition.
&nbsp;
These accomplishments have further solidified BitsLab’s position as a technological leader in Web3 security, laying a solid foundation for its expansion into the consumer security field.
&nbsp;
The acquisition and renaming of KEKKAI Plugin as BitsLab Safe signifies BitsLab’s extension of its security capabilities from developers and institutions to everyday users, creating a comprehensive Web3 protection network “from code to wallet, from enterprise to individual.”
&nbsp;
<h2 id="empowering-web3-security-through-ai">Empowering Web3 Security Through AI</h2>
&nbsp;
BitsLab stated that the launch of BitsLab Safe marks an important milestone in its consumer-side security strategy. The team plans to leverage BitsLab’s self-developed AI security engine to perform deep learning analysis on user behavior, transaction data, and risk models in Web3, providing more intelligent and precise real-time protection directly at the browser level.
&nbsp;
BitsLab aims to enhance the security and trust standards of Web3 through technological innovation. The release of BitsLab Safe represents a pivotal stage in the company’s expansion from enterprise-grade security to user-level protection.
&nbsp;
In the future, BitsLab will continue to advance the integration of AI and blockchain security technologies, driving the automation and intelligence of risk identification, threat analysis, and attack defense, thereby building a more efficient and transparent security infrastructure.
&nbsp;
This strategic move not only provides users with visualized safety feedback during daily transactions but also injects a stronger layer of trust into the entire Web3 ecosystem. BitsLab believes that only when security comes first can Web3 achieve true mass adoption and sustainable growth.
