CoinMarketCap’s evolving momentum algorithm, which tracks price action, social sentiment, and network activity, has spotlighted Zcash (ZEC), 4, and Bio Protocol (BIO) as the top-performing cryptocurrencies over the past 24 hours.

Each asset’s rally stems from distinct catalysts, ranging from regulatory narratives to memecoin hype and biotech innovation.

1. Zcash (+17.43%) – Privacy Revival and Halving Hype

Zcash is seeing renewed momentum as traders position ahead of its November 2025 halving and a sharp increase in shielded transactions. With cross-chain integrations through THORSwap and Router Protocol, accessibility to ZEC has improved, while institutional appetite, led by Grayscale’s Zcash Trust, has strengthened. Trading volume rose 52% to $567 million, pushing its market cap to $4.17 billion. Analysts warn, however, that its RSI near 74 signals possible short-term exhaustion.

2. 4 (+25.36%) – The BNB Memecoin Goes Viral

The token “4” has exploded in popularity following social posts by Binance co-founder CZ, who referenced the number as a meme for “ignore FUD.” The coin’s ties to a $4K hack narrative and recent listing on Aster DEX sent its market cap above $144 million.

Still, its high whale concentration and thin liquidity raise volatility risks. Traders are watching whether this BNB Chain memecoin wave can sustain momentum or fade like previous cycles.

3. Bio Protocol (+39.61%) – AI and Biotech Converge

Bio Protocol’s price surge comes after its Upbit listing and the debut of AI-driven BioAgents for decentralized biotech research. The upgrade, alongside new Ethereum staking integration, has driven a 962% increase in trading volume to $373 million. With a market cap of $205 million, BIO is benefiting from the fast-growing DeSci (decentralized science) narrative that merges artificial intelligence with life sciences, a trend gaining traction among institutional and retail investors alike.

Together, these rallies highlight crypto’s expanding diversity, from privacy and memes to biotech innovation, underscoring how narratives, not just numbers, continue to drive short-term market momentum.
