Takeaways:

Ethereum has jumped over 20% from the all-important $3,5K support, eyeing a move back to its $4,8K all-time high.

Ethereum price prediction points to a potential surge toward $16K after a major breakout on the two-week chart.

With an altcoin boom brewing, $HYPER, $BEST, and $BROCCOLI emerge as the best cryptos to buy in October.

Although Ethereum fell quite sharply on Friday, the token quickly found support and is now already up over 20% from its Friday lows of $3,5K

Most importantly, its recent bounce is coming from two key support zones (on the daily chart):

First, an upward-sloping trend line that previously sparked an eye-popping 135% rally in June 2025.

Second, the 200 exponential moving average (EMA), which is arguably the most watched long-term trend indicator.

Given Ethereum’s strong reaction from these support zones, experts believe it should now have enough firepower to charge towards the $4,8K level, i.e., its current all-time high.

For a longer-term price prediction, we can switch to the two-week chart, which all but shouts extreme bullishness.

As you can see, $ETH is now successfully completing a retest after breaking through a significant descending triangle pattern in early August of this year.

Here, we can measure the maximum width of the triangle pattern (blue rectangle) and project it onto the breakout level of $3,8K00 to arrive at the next potential target – a mind-boggling $16K.

Here’s the kicker now: Ethereum’s potential 300% run-up from current levels could, in all likelihood, trigger a massive altcoin boom.

If you want to make the most of this rare opportunity, consider loading up on low-cap altcoins that – once they go mainstream – could churn out life-changing returns.

1. Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) – New Bitcoin Layer-2 for Fast Speeds, Low Fees & Web3

Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) could bring about one of the most necessary and revolutionary improvements in how Bitcoin’s blockchain functions.

It’s a new Bitcoin Layer 2 that integrates with the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) to bring Solana-like performance – lightning-fast transaction speeds, ultra-low fees, and full compatibility with the Web3 and DeFi space – to the Bitcoin blockchain.

Currently, Bitcoin can process just 7 transactions per second (TPS), which is among the slowest in the world. That’s because it processes them one by one.

However, with the help of the SVM, $HYPER will execute thousands of transactions in parallel, thereby bringing Bitcoin closer to the likes of Solana, which boasts over 65K TPS.

Additionally, it’ll allow developers to build smart contracts and decentralized applications without having to leave the security nest that Bitcoin natively offers.

In simple terms, users of Bitcoin will finally gain access to Web3 and DeFi, including trading apps, NFTs, DAOs, governance, lending, staking, swapping, and gaming.

The star of the show is Hyper’s non-custodial decentralized canonical bridge. It converts your Layer-1 Bitcoin into wrapped Layer-2 compatible tokens.

And when you’re done interacting with Web3, it’ll swap your L2 tokens back and release your original Bitcoin to your wallet.

This compelling solution to Bitcoin’s woes has led to Bitcoin Hyper being one of the best-performing crypto presales of 2025, attracting sizable investments from both retail participants and deep-pocketed investors.

Currently, it has over $23.6M in its presale kitty, with each token priced at just $0.013115. Holders can also stake their tokens for a nifty 50% APY.

3. Broccoli (firstbroccoli.com) ($BROCCOLI) – Viral Meme Coin Based on CZ’s Pet Dog

Several $BROCCOLI tokens flooded the market in February 2025, when Binance’s ex-CEO Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao publicly shared the name and images of his beloved dog Broccoli, remarking that he understands the hype around these animal-themed meme coins.

Now, FirstBroccoli ($BROCCOLI) emerges as the leader of the pack, gaining the most traction. It shot up by over 3,000% in less than a month, proving that even a little nudge from a prominent crypto player like CZ is more than enough to send a token to the moon.

Of course, as is often the case with these hype-fueled tokens, $BROCCOLI lost most of its initial gains and began trading sideways once the frenzy cooled down.

Until recently, that is.

$BROCCOLI is up over 60% in the last 7 days as it enjoys renewed momentum, arguably driven by the latest news of President Donald Trump leaning toward issuing a presidential pardon for CZ.

If history repeats itself, FirstBroccoli can once again post some staggering returns. It’s currently trading around $0.02.

Recap: As $ETH rebounds and eyes a massive breakout, the altcoin boom could be just beginning. Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER), Best Wallet Token ($BEST), and FirstBroccoli ($BROCCOLI) are among the best cryptos to watch.
