<h2 id="cryptoquant-ceo-bitcoin-futures-traders-now-mainly-retail-investors">CRYPTOQUANT CEO: BITCOIN FUTURES TRADERS NOW MAINLY RETAIL INVESTORS</h2>
&nbsp;
On October 15, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju reported that Bitcoin futures traders are now mostly retail investors. The average order size has dropped from $6,000 earlier this year to $2,000, indicating a major shift in market composition.
&nbsp;
This data reveals a clear structural narrative — the Bitcoin market is undergoing a deep transformation, shifting from a speculation-driven futures market to a spot- and long-term holding-driven ecosystem.
&nbsp;
The weakening influence of leveraged futures and the rising share of spot trading volume signal a healthier market foundation. A sustainable bull market should be powered by real spot demand, not by leverage-fueled speculation.

<h2 id="uniswap-founder-cex-listing-fees-are-mostly-a-marketing-tactic">UNISWAP FOUNDER: CEX LISTING FEES ARE MOSTLY A MARKETING TACTIC</h2>
&nbsp;
On October 15, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams stated that decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and automated market makers (AMMs) now allow any asset to list, trade, and access liquidity for free.
He noted that when a project chooses to pay a high listing fee to a centralized exchange (CEX), it’s mainly for marketing exposure, not because it’s structurally necessary for market access. Hayden emphasized:
<blockquote>
 “The development of DEXs and AMMs enables anyone to create a market freely. We’re proud to play a role in achieving that.”
</blockquote>
From a technical perspective, Uniswap’s AMM model uses mathematical formulas (such as the constant product formula) to automatically handle trades and liquidity distribution without relying on order books or centralized approvals.
This design allows any token with a liquidity pool to be traded, realizing the concept of “free listing.” However, “free” doesn’t mean “zero cost” — projects still need to provide liquidity or incentives to attract users, but those costs are lower than CEX listing fees and flow directly to market participants rather than intermediaries.
<h2 id="metamask-to-integrate-polymarket-into-its-wallet">METAMASK TO INTEGRATE POLYMARKET INTO ITS WALLET</h2>
On October 15, MetaMask announced a partnership with Polymarket to natively integrate on-chain prediction markets into the MetaMask wallet. Through this integration, users will be able to trade predictions on sports, crypto, politics, and other topics directly within MetaMask.
From an industry perspective, this integration is a strategic move that expands product functionality while reshaping user behavior. As the largest non-custodial wallet, MetaMask serves as a traffic aggregator, simplifying access to on-chain applications. Meanwhile, Polymarket represents a data-driven, game-theoretic use case centered on probabilistic trading.
The integration is more than a simple feature addition — it embeds a high-frequency, high-engagement application directly into the user’s primary crypto gateway. This could significantly increase user interaction frequency and engagement depth, marking a new step in how wallet products evolve from passive storage tools to active trading and information platforms.
