Miami, United States, October 14, 2025 / Mintfunnel, a Coinbound Company – Today, the team behind FIATXGOLD announced the launch of a community-driven meme coin initiative designed for entertainment and experimentation. The project introduces a clear, rules-based mechanism that reduces and burns portions of the token supply on a periodic basis when the price of gold rises—aiming to set itself apart in a crowded meme-coin landscape through transparency, repeatable token mechanics, and community governance.
“Meme culture thrives on creativity and shared experiences,” said the founder of FIATXGOLD “Our community asked for a project that’s fun, open, and structured. We’ve responded with a simple framework: when gold’s reference price increases over defined intervals, we execute a pre-disclosed burn of a portion of the token supply. That’s it. No financial promises—just a transparent, community-oriented experiment.”

How the Mechanism Works

Reference Benchmark: The project uses a publicly available gold price benchmark (daily appreciation of active Gold Futures contract) to assess directional movement over predefined periods.

Periodic Review: At scheduled checkpoints, if the benchmark reflects an increase versus the prior checkpoint, the developer initiates a manual token burn from the eligible supply pool, pursuant to parameters detailed in the whitepaper.

Transparent Rules: All parameters—burn percentages, frequency, thresholds, and data sources—are published on the community X page for public review before activation and are subject to community input via governance.

Community Oversight: Proposal and voting mechanics enable community members to suggest adjustments to operational parameters. Any changes are disclosed prior to implementation.

What This Project Is—and Is Not

Entertainment & Community: FIATXGOLD is a community entertainment project inspired by internet culture. The value proposition is participation, creativity, and transparent mechanics, not financial returns.

No Investment Product: FIATXGOLD is not an investment product. It does not offer, solicit, or market securities or any form of investment contract.

No Promises or Expectations of Profit: The team does not promise profits, yields, or appreciation. Token price is market-driven and outside the team’s control.

Open Information: Documentation, smart-contract addresses, and governance processes are published so participants can independently evaluate how the system works.

Commitment to Responsible Participation

The team encourages anyone engaging with the project to do so for entertainment purposes only. Participation should be discretionary and based on personal interest in the meme culture and technical experiment. Users are urged to review the documentation, understand the inherent volatility of digital tokens, and comply with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
“FIATXGOLD is intentionally simple,” added the community Developer. “The supply-burn rule is transparent and tied to an external reference, but it is not designed to engineer returns. Our job is to publish clear rules, open our process to community feedback, and let the experiment speak for itself.”

Roadmap & Transparency

Public Docs: A plain-language overview and a technical specification detail the supply-burn process, the gold price reference methodology, and governance procedures. See website.

Audits & Reviews: The team intends to pursue independent reviews or audits of smart contracts where applicable and publish results to maximize community trust. Follow us on X.
