XRP ETF

Optimism

When Dom Kwok, co-founder of EasyA, shared a casual update on X, the timing caught attention across the cryptocurrency community.
Kwok revealed that he bought $10,000 worth of XRP on his way to the gym, attaching a screenshot showing a filled limit order of 4,098.36 XRP at $2.44 per token.
The post followed one he made a day earlier, asking, “What’s everyone buying this weekend?” and these messages came at a moment of renewed anticipation in the digital asset market.
The broader cryptocurrency sector has faced significant price pressure recently, with a notable collapse that cut across the market. XRP also fell from around $2.8 to just under $2 for the first time since June, and while some market participants were worried, many investors saw this price decline as a buying opportunity.
Optimism surrounding potential spot XRP ETF approvals has also grown, with several key SEC decision deadlines expected in October. This backdrop has made Kwok’s purchase appear to some observers as a statement of confidence rather than a speculative move.

Growing Optimism Around Regulatory Milestones

The possibility of spot XRP ETFs has become one of the most discussed topics in digital asset circles this month. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is reviewing multiple filings from asset managers seeking approval to list XRP-based products.
Several of those applications face final decision dates in mid-to-late October, aligning with a period of heightened attention from investors who view regulatory acceptance as a potential catalyst for price recovery.
Although the SEC has not provided any definitive decision, analysts believe the environment is shifting toward greater accommodation of digital asset ETFs following recent rule changes.

Market participants argue that a spot XRP ETF could improve access to institutional liquidity and enhance overall market maturity. That expectation has fueled a modest wave of accumulation from traders and long-term holders looking to position ahead of possible announcements.

Influence From a Market Expert

While Kwok did not elaborate on his reasons for buying, his timing suggests confidence that current market levels present a major buying opportunity. His visibility as a technology entrepreneur adds weight to the decision, especially within a community that closely follows signals from public figures and early-stage investors.
The convergence of falling prices, renewed investor engagement, and the potential for landmark regulatory approvals has placed XRP in a pivotal position, and if ETFs boost the asset’s price as many experts anticipate, Kwok’s purchase could bring significant profit.
