The Aster team has officially confirmed preparations for the Stage 2 $ASTER airdrop, sending fresh excitement through the community after a volatile week in the market.
According to the latest announcement, 4% of the total $ASTER supply will soon move from the Airdrop Reserve to the Aster DEX Treasury contract. These on-chain transfers mark the final step before users can claim their next round of rewards.
The team emphasized that these are official transactions and urged the community to ignore FUD or misinformation spreading on social media. Holders are advised to follow only Aster’s verified channels for updates and claim details once the airdrop portal goes live.
This marks a significant milestone for Aster, signaling that the project continues to execute its roadmap despite recent market turbulence. The Stage 2 airdrop follows the first successful distribution earlier this year and is expected to boost on-chain engagement across Aster’s DEX ecosystem.

Even though the airdrop news lifted community sentiment, the Aster price remains under pressure after the broader market correction. The token fell sharply from above $1.70 to $1.15 before finding support and consolidating near $1.45 to $1.50.

Trader Altcoin Ardi shared his latest analysis, noting that Aster posted a “nice bounce” from $1.15 to $1.52 but is now facing resistance at the bearish retest zone around $1.50 – a level that once acted as support. Ardi added that it is still early for deeper analysis, as much of the previous structure was invalidated, though he is now mapping new zones and backtesting moving-average behavior across multiple timeframes.
On the chart, the 13-EMA recently crossed above the 31-SMA, hinting at a short-term recovery attempt. However, traders will need to see a clear break above $1.60–$1.65 to confirm a stronger bullish reversal. Until then, the move looks like a technical relief rally within a broader downtrend.
The upcoming Stage 2 airdrop could act as a short-term catalyst for price action. Historically, airdrops tend to attract both long-term holders and short-term speculators, often leading to higher volatility as rewards are claimed and redistributed.
