Over $19.3 billion was erased in a single day, following Trump’s new tariff threat on China, which reignited global trade war fears. As volatility spreads, investors are seeking safer assets, turning to Chainlink, Polkadot, and Remittix as the best crypto to buy now. Notably, Remittix’s presale acted as a hedge, with its value staying unaffected during the downturn.

The Chainlink price took a major hit during the crash, falling over 65% to a two-year low of $7.9 before rebounding to about $17. The drop worsened after the Chainlink team unlocked and deposited 18.75 million tokens, worth roughly $387 million, into Binance. That move increased selling pressure at the worst possible moment, causing retail investors to panic.
Technical readings like the Stochastic RSI at 18 and DMI at 8 confirm weak short-term momentum. Analysts say LINK could slip toward $15.50 before finding support, though a bounce above $22 remains possible if sentiment improves. Despite the setback, Chainlink’s expanding role in DeFi data integration keeps it firmly on experts’ lists of the best crypto to buy now for long-term recovery plays.

Polkadot (DOT) was trading near $7 before the market collapse but dropped sharply to around $3 during the sell-off. Still, the project is pushing forward with major progress. Polkadot has begun merging its core functions — assets, staking, bridges, and smart contracts — into a unified system called Polkadot Hub, effectively turning it into a superchain.
The shift eliminates fragmentation and improves cross-chain communication, giving developers a more efficient environment to build. This upgrade was already tested successfully on Kusama and is now rolling out to the main network. Analysts believe this innovation could help Polkadot recover faster than many altcoins once markets stabilize, keeping DOT ranked among the best crypto to buy now for 2025.

While chaos ruled the charts, Remittix barely flinched. The project has already raised $27.3 million from 677 million tokens sold at $0.1130, and its presale value stayed steady even during the crash, effectively acting as a hedge for investors. Ranked #1 Pre-Launch Token on CertiK Skynet and fully KYC verified, Remittix is building a PayFi ecosystem for real-world crypto-to-fiat payments in 30+ countries.
