Crypto commentator JackTheRippler (@RippleXrpie) has drawn the attention of the XRP army to a new series of filings by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
On October 10, 2025, the SEC submitted another batch of Amendment No. 3 forms related to spot XRP exchange-traded funds from issuers including Bitwise, Franklin, 21Shares, WisdomTree, Grayscale, and Canary.
Several XRP ETF applications are approaching their final decision dates <a href="https://timestabloid.com/xrp-spot-etf-key-deadlines-heres-why-october-will-be-historic/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">between October 18 and October 25, 2025</a>. The update comes just days before these key deadlines, fueling renewed interest among investors watching for the Commission’s next move on XRP-linked products.
Unless the SEC grants an extension, these represent the final deadlines by which the Commission must either approve or reject the proposals. Market observers believe the simultaneous amendments from multiple issuers may signal progress toward a conclusion.

<h2 id="strong-steps-toward-approval-strong">Steps Toward Approval</h2>
The SEC typically reviews several amendment rounds before final decisions on digital asset ETFs. Each update addresses staff feedback on compliance, market oversight, and custody standards. Filing new amendments near their deadlines suggests XRP ETF issuers are preparing for imminent determinations.
<a href="https://timestabloid.com/xrp-etf-decision-looming-how-approval-could-impact-price-in-coming-weeks/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">An SEC greenlight</a> would allow U.S. investors to gain exposure to XRP through ETFs on regulated markets. These products would track XRP’s price directly rather than through <a href="https://timestabloid.com/heres-why-coinbase-xrp-futures-is-a-game-changer/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">futures contracts</a>, providing a simpler and more transparent investment vehicle.
The move could mark the first time spot XRP-based ETFs trade in the U.S., bringing the asset closer to parity with Bitcoin and Ethereum, both of which already have spot ETFs in circulation.

<h2 id="strong-potential-impact-on-xrp-strong">Potential Impact on XRP</h2>
Approval of a spot XRP ETF could have a profound effect on the asset’s market performance. A listing would provide institutional investors with a regulated means of exposure, potentially unlocking new sources of capital that have remained on the sidelines due to regulatory uncertainty.
With major asset managers such as Grayscale and WisdomTree involved, the visibility and legitimacy of XRP could increase substantially. Analysts argue that the introduction of an XRP ETF could lead to higher liquidity and narrower spreads in secondary markets, improving price stability over time.
<a href="https://timestabloid.com/ripple-ceo-states-major-path-to-more-institutional-adoption-on-xrp-ledger/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Increased participation from institutional investors</a> could also boost trading volumes on regulated exchanges and drive greater integration between XRP and traditional financial products. For now, the market awaits the SEC’s decisions due later in October. The latest filings confirm that active discussions are ongoing.
