A recent video shared on X by crypto influencer Ben Malena (@HighVibeAssets) reignited debate within the XRP community.
The clip featured crypto commentator Naga Beau delivering a fiery message directed at Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, capturing the emotion of investors who have waited years for XRP to reach its true potential.
Malena’s post amplified the tension between short-term frustration and long-term belief in XRP’s potential, a dynamic that has followed the digital asset for much of its history.
While some investors express anger over the lack of immediate results, others continue to point to Ripple’s leadership consistency as the reason to remain confident.
Beau stated in the video that XRP will either turn out to be a scam or its investors, including himself, will all become very rich. Malena, who is known for his support of XRP, noted that many investors have put their life savings into XRP, but asked the community to keep loading tokens as he is confident in the asset’s future.

Garlinghouse has led Ripple through some of the industry’s toughest challenges, including a prolonged legal battle with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. When the case questioned the nature of XRP’s classification, Ripple stood firm, eventually securing clarity for the digital asset.
Throughout that process, Garlinghouse maintained his focus on Ripple’s core objective of transforming global payments through efficient blockchain-based systems. His leadership ensured that the company expanded partnerships with financial institutions while maintaining transparency in its operations.
Rather than retreating during regulatory headwinds, Ripple continued to develop its technology and global presence.

While some say XRP is a high-risk bet, others see it as a foundational asset for the future of international finance. Despite these opposing views, Ripple’s roadmap has remained consistent under Garlinghouse’s direction.
Ripple’s efforts to improve cross-border payments have evolved from proof-of-concept to real-world use, with several banks and payment providers adopting its solutions. By emphasizing practical utility rather than market speculation, the company has positioned itself as one of the few blockchain firms with tangible institutional engagement.
This strategy reflects Garlinghouse’s view that the long-term value of XRP depends on adoption and trust, not hype. Garlinghouse has proven to be a trustworthy figure over the years, and while many skeptics still exist, his track record and XRP’s growth suggest that more will come, and the asset could dominate global finance.
