Analysts predict that Hayes' move may be just the beginning, and that he may invest more ETH or different altcoins in the near term.
Arthur Hayes is known for his timely trading in the crypto market. His strategic purchases, particularly during downturns, often coincide with subsequent uptrends. Therefore, investors believe Hayes' Ethereum position reflects his anticipation of a new uptrend in the DeFi and Layer-1 ecosystem.
The Ethereum price has been trading above $4,500 in recent weeks, and the market is showing signs of recovery amid renewed institutional interest. Hayes' latest investment is being interpreted as a sign of confidence in this uptrend.
Market analysts note that Hayes' new purchases will be closely monitored through on-chain data and that these transactions could create new momentum for the Ethereum ecosystem in the short term.
