IoTeX has officially launched the Real-World AI Foundry, partnering with Vodafone, Filecoin, and Theta Network at Token2049 in Singapore.
The initiative seeks to enhance decentralized data sharing and privacy-preserving AI, impacting IoTeX's native token IOTX and potential collaborations with FIL and THETA.
IoTeX has launched the Real-World AI Foundry to boost decentralized data sharing and privacy in AI. This initiative addresses sectors like mobility and healthcare. It was announced at the R3al World AI Summit during Token2049 in Singapore.
Vodafone, Filecoin, and Theta Network are noted backers, collaborating with IoTeX. The project is anticipated to impact IOTX token usage, encouraging the development of privacy-preserving AI models for diverse industries.
The launch is set to directly affect the value and utility of IoTeX's native token IOTX, as contributors receive rewards through cryptocurrency. This engagement may also indirectly influence FIL and THETA.
No explicit financial backing details are disclosed, but the collaboration suggests strong institutional support. On-chain data tracking will be essential for gauging the impact on these cryptocurrencies after the Foundry launch.
Privacy-preserving features rely on IoTeX’s ioID protocol and zero-knowledge proofs. The governance structure will move towards a token-based system, enhancing community involvement and decision-making in project developments.
Previous examples like Ocean Protocol show temporary trading volume spikes after strategic announcements, suggesting potential financial impacts. Similar projects targeting AI development have focused on infrastructure, mirroring IoTeX's utility-centric approach.
