Splyce is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Chintai to introduce institutional-grade tokenized securities to Solana's DeFi ecosystem through innovative strategy tokens, or "S-Tokens."
This collaboration addresses a critical gap in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization by enabling retail DeFi users to access yield-bearing institutional assets without traditional KYC requirements or platform restrictions.
Breaking Down RWA Barriers Through Innovation
The partnership introduces S-Tokens, which mirror Chintai's tokenized securities through a compliant loan structure backed against the underlying assets. While users never directly hold Chintai's security tokens, they gain exposure to the yields through these DeFi-compatible mirror tokens, ensuring full compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.

“When we started building on Solana, institutional RWAs were still just a theory. Today, they’re becoming a reality and this partnership makes them usable for the entire DeFi community,” said Tyler Carter, Co-founder of Splyce.

Unlocking Institutional Access to DeFi
Traditional RWA tokenization has created "walled garden" environments, accessible primarily to institutional investors. Retail participants are often forced to navigate cumbersome onboarding processes and provide extensive identifying information to access these platforms– a barrier most DeFi users are unwilling to accept.
Splyce's compliance-structured approach eliminates these friction points by enabling users to interact with institutional-grade assets through their existing Web3 wallets. The S-Token structure maintains regulatory compliance while delivering the permissionless access that defines DeFi.
Capitalizing on Solana's RWA Momentum
This partnership arrives as Solana cements itself as the leading chain for real-world assets. RWAs represent a $400 trillion global market — yet less than 0.1% has moved onchain. Solana is rapidly capturing that opportunity, with RWA TVL already surpassing $600 million in 2025, up 3x since the start of the year.
Major institutions like Apollo and Franklin Templeton have already established an onchain presence, validating Solana as the premier blockchain for institutional capital. As Matt Hougan, CIO of Bitwise, recently said: “Solana is architected to be the new Wall Street.”
Until now, most of this growth has been confined to institutional platforms and walled gardens. Splyce and Chintai are the unlock. By introducing S-Tokens, they extend Solana’s RWA momentum to the broader DeFi ecosystem — enabling anyone with a wallet to access institutional-grade yields, trade them 24/7, and integrate them into DeFi strategies without traditional gatekeepers.
Immediate Implementation and Future Expansion
The partnership will launch with Kin Capital Fund as the inaugural Chintai-backed product on Splyce, providing a concrete example of institutional RWA integration with DeFi protocols. This launch demonstrates the platform's capability to bridge traditional finance and decentralized systems while maintaining regulatory compliance.
The S-Token architecture enables sophisticated yield strategies previously unavailable to retail DeFi participants. Users can incorporate these institutional-grade assets into complex DeFi strategies, including liquidity provision, lending, and structured products, all while maintaining the yields from underlying real-world assets.
Product Timeline and Market Impact
Live product rollout is scheduled for October 2025, beginning with the Kin Capital fund. This timeline positions the partnership to capitalize on growing institutional interest in Solana while providing DeFi users with new yield opportunities.
The collaboration represents a significant advancement in RWA accessibility, creating a framework that other institutional players can leverage to reach retail DeFi markets without compromising regulatory requirements.
About Splyce
Splyce is the home of real-world yield on Solana. The protocol brings institutional-grade assets onchain and makes them permissionless, composable, and available 24/7. Alongside yield products, Splyce is introducing decentralised ETFs (dETFs) that deliver instant diversification across crypto sectors and blended strategies in a single token. By combining institutional scale with DeFi accessibility, Splyce is building the distribution layer for RWAs on Solana.
About Chintai
