Donald Trump has introduced the Trump Gold Card, a U.S. residency program for high-net-worth investors. The program demands a $1 million nonrefundable contribution. This initiative is part of Trump's business interests and has garnered considerable attention.
The program involves several key players, including Trump himself. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services will conduct background checks. The initiative is not related to cryptocurrency or blockchain but focuses solely on residency offers.
The announcement has not significantly affected the cryptocurrency market. No notable changes have been observed in key blockchain assets. Wealthy investors continue preferring international residency programs, citing more favorable tax conditions overseas.
This U.S. residency program might affect real estate and legal services. However, due to the lack of integration with cryptocurrencies, its influence on tokens or digital assets remains minimal.
