As the cryptocurrency market gears up for an exciting Q4, all eyes are on the SOL/ETH ratio, with analyst Rekt Capital highlighting a pivotal moment for Solana. In a recent X post on September 23, 2025, Rekt Capital shared a chart suggesting Solana could outperform Ethereum in October if key technical levels are breached. The SOL/ETH ratio, currently hovering around the critical 0.23 level, is at a crossroads. A monthly close above this threshold, followed by a successful retest, could activate a bullish “black path,” signaling a potential surge for Solana.

The chart, spanning 2024 to 2026, shows Solana’s price action against Ethereum, with a notable rejection zone circled around 0.23. This level has historically acted as resistance, but a breakout could pave the way for higher targets.

Rekt Capital’s analysis aligns with broader market trends, where Solana’s recent dominance in prediction markets—processing 2.9 billion transactions in August—has fueled optimism. Trading at $218, Solana’s momentum is bolstered by institutional support and a growing ecosystem, positioning it as a contender to challenge Ethereum’s long-standing lead.

October Showdown Could Redefine Market Narrative

However, the road ahead isn’t without risks. A failure to close above 0.23 could see Solana retreat, reinforcing Ethereum’s dominance. With the crypto community buzzing on X about Solana’s potential to hit $500 if it breaks $240, October could be a defining month. Investors are advised to watch these levels closely, as the SOL/ETH ratio’s movement will likely dictate the short-term narrative in the altcoin market.

The stage is set for an intriguing battle between these two giants. Whether Solana can seize the moment or Ethereum holds its ground remains to be seen, but the technical setup suggests October could be a game-changer.
