This step was taken to ensure the safe implementation of the upgrade and a seamless user experience. The network upgrade and hard fork are expected to occur at approximately 7:30 PM at block height 22,893,000.
The exchange stated that users do not need to take any additional action, and all technical requirements will be managed automatically by Binance. However, trading of RUNE tokens will not be affected by this process.
Binance announced that deposits and withdrawals for RUNE and related tokens will reopen once the upgrade is complete and the network's stability is confirmed. However, it emphasized that no further announcements will be made on this matter.
This critical upgrade for the THORChain community aims to improve the network's performance, security, and scalability. Binance's support will ensure users navigate this process seamlessly.
This development will allow RUNE traders to continue trading without worrying about transaction security and liquidity.
