The airdrop on September 9, 2025, resulted in immediate selling from recipients, yet it was followed by substantial buying from smart money investors and whales. Significant whale accumulation and anticipation of new exchange listings are major factors influencing AVNT’s performance.

Market Impact and Future Outlook

The price surge has impacted the cryptocurrency market, particularly Base ecosystem assets like AVNT, AERO, and Zora. Investor confidence is bolstered by increased whale activity and market speculation. The Total Value Locked (TVL) in Avantis has jumped significantly, reflecting strong protocol growth.

Smart money investors now hold 1.14 million AVNT tokens… whales now hold over 1.27 million Avantis tokens.

The AVNT market activity has resulted in heightened trading volumes, with Coinbase and Aerodrome Finance being central platforms for transactions. Analysts suggest that potential listings on prominent exchanges such as Binance could further catalyze AVNT’s price momentum and wider market interest.

Smart Money Insights

Market analysts note that the increase in smart money and whale accumulation indicates a positive price outlook. Historical patterns with similar tokens show that the release of airdrops often leads to an initial sell-off, followed by subsequent rallies driven by informed investors.

Insights into the financial and technological outcomes suggest that if AVNT continues its current trajectory, it could become a dominant player in the decentralized perpetual contracts market. The increase in Total Value Locked and trading volumes showcase robust ecosystem fundamentals and possible further growth.
