Hedera’s HBAR token has seen a noticeable increase in value, following recent institutional milestones that have strengthened its market position. The price of HBAR currently stands at $0.2431, marking a 3.42% gain over the last 24 hours. This rally coincides with the completion of a cup-and-handle chart pattern, with a breakout from a descending price channel signaling the potential for further gains.

One of the key factors driving HBAR’s recent price movement is its inclusion in the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) list. This listing has significantly increased Hedera’s visibility within traditional financial markets, presenting a strong case for its future integration into institutional portfolios. The listing opens the door for broader adoption of Hedera’s token by institutional investors, further establishing the platform as a serious contender in the digital asset space.

Archax Expansion Boosts Hedera’s Utility and Flexibility

In addition to the DTCC listing, Archax’s expansion of its services on the Hedera network has added another layer of utility. Archax, a regulated digital asset exchange, has launched Pool Tokens on Hedera, enabling users to create and manage diversified portfolios under a single token. This development not only supports asset transfers and portfolio restructuring but also enhances Hedera’s compliance with strict regulatory standards. Consequently, these advances serve to boost the network’s credibility and growth potential.

Technically, HBAR’s price has completed a cup-and-handle pattern, a bullish chart formation often seen as a signal for higher prices. The immediate resistance is seen around $0.268, followed by a more significant barrier at $0.305. Should these levels be broken, Fibonacci projections suggest that HBAR could target $0.36 and $0.40, with a longer-term goal of reaching $0.50. However, the price must hold above $0.22 to maintain the validity of this breakout and avoid a reversal.

With strong institutional developments and a positive technical outlook, Hedera’s HBAR price seems poised for continued growth. The combination of its recent DTCC listing and Archax’s expansion not only boosts its appeal among institutional investors but also increases the token's utility within the growing market for tokenized portfolios. If the current momentum continues, HBAR could very well see significant progress toward its $0.50 target.
