The Bitcoin Bull Score Index signals a bearish trend, with 8 out of 10 indicators from CryptoQuant turning red, as analysts noted on September 11, 2025.
This indicator suggests potential price declines, impacting investor confidence and market sentiment, amid slowing inflows and increased sell-side pressure on exchanges.
Bitcoin Bull Score Index is highlighting a significant bearish trend, with 8 out of 10 indicators turning red. Market momentum is evidently cooling as stated by analyst JA Maartun from CryptoQuant. In his words, “8 out of 10 signals in the CryptoQuant Bull Score Index are flashing bearish for Bitcoin. Momentum is clearly cooling.” Actions involve the warning of bearish signals where only ‘Bitcoin demand growth’ and ‘Technical signal’ indicators remain positive. The immediate effect is a slowdown in treasury buying and new inflows, according to trading infrastructure insights. Centralized exchanges report low levels of new capital. The market remains cautious amid these alerts. Bitcoin appears to lag as per Augustine Fan from SignalPlus, impacting its performance relative to altcoins and equities. The MVRV-Z Score, profit/loss index, and stablecoin liquidity show reduced gains and liquidity.
Previous instances in April and July 2025 showed similar bearish signals coinciding with local price declines. Historical comparisons suggest potential multi-week corrections. Altcoins and traditional assets are currently outperforming Bitcoin in this phase. Insights point to broader market effects, influenced by macroeconomic conditions like labor market changes and expected interest rate adjustments. For example, The Kobeissi Letter discusses that "The market expects a 0.75% rate cut by the end of the year. Although inflation is rising, employment issues are becoming too serious to ignore. Next week will be critically important.” Follow the Kobeissi Letter for other market insights.
