Steph Is Crypto (@Steph_iscrypto), a popular crypto analyst, recently shared a video emphasizing what he describes as a pivotal development for XRP. On the daily chart, he noted that the token is currently attempting to break out of a falling wedge pattern.
He described this as a positive signal but stressed that confirmation depends on the close of the daily candle. According to him, if the candle closes near its current level within the next 15 to 20 hours, the breakout can be considered confirmed.
He explained that if confirmation holds, XRP could begin moving higher in the coming days. Price levels remain consistent with his earlier analysis, where he set $3.6 as the initial target, before a rise above its all-time high to $4, $4.61, and $5.

While optimistic, the analyst also cautioned against dismissing downside risks. He mentioned that if the current daily candle closes under $2.87, the breakout setup could fail. A close above $2.91, on the other hand, would reinforce the bullish structure.
While XRP struggled below $2.87 in the early days of September, the asset experienced a notable recovery on September 7. Now it must stay above that crucial support level. Steph emphasized that the broader market structure remains constructive, stating that XRP still follows a higher-high, higher-low formation when viewed on a longer time frame.
He argued that this performance supports the expectation of more upside, provided the market respects these technical levels. His approach places importance on letting the trend guide trading decisions, noting that the overall momentum for XRP remains to the upside.

Steph further examined XRP’s performance using the three-day time frame. He pointed to the stochastic RSI, which is currently oversold. He recalled that previous oversold readings on this indicator have coincided with substantial upward moves in XRP’s price.
Based on this, he believes that the token is entering what he described as a “moment of opportunity,” especially if the current daily candle closes above the key threshold near $2.91. According to his analysis, a confirmed breakout could lay the groundwork for XRP to progress toward higher targets. He stressed the importance of monitoring each level and following the trend.
