Some are building long-term utility, while others thrive on community strength and short-term momentum. This list looks at four coins making headlines right now, starting with the project that has turned millions of smartphones into simple yet powerful mining devices.

1. BlockDAG: Mobile Mining Leader With $395M Raised

For anyone asking what is the best crypto to invest in, BlockDAG continues to sit at the top. Its X1 Miner App has already pulled in over 3 million users worldwide, letting people earn up to 20 BDAG daily by simply checking in on their phones. No rigs, no energy bills, no extra costs.

The project’s Proof-of-Engagement system rewards users for activity instead of processing power. Daily logins, referrals, and use of its Academy create a cycle where engagement directly leads to ownership. That model has given BlockDAG (BDAG) massive staying power and global growth.

Its presale numbers prove the demand: over $395 million raised, 25.9 billion coins sold, and the price now at $0.03 in Batch 30. From Batch 1 to today, that’s a 2,900% gain. Interestingly, the cost of BlockDAG coins has been lowered to $0.0013, timed with its upcoming Deployment Event in Singapore.

BlockDAG has gone from idea to functioning ecosystem with miners and real use cases. With 19,500+ crypto miners sold and millions tapping into the X1 App daily, it proves accessibility and scale can drive adoption. For many, this makes BlockDAG the clearest answer to what is the best crypto to invest in right now

2. Stellar: Building Steady Cross-Border Utility

Stellar rarely dominates headlines, but steady growth makes it part of the conversation on what is the best crypto to invest in this year. Its latest protocol upgrade boosted smart contract features and brought in several fintech firms from Southeast Asia. These moves strengthen Stellar’s position in cross-border transactions.

XLM is currently trading near $0.15, climbing from $0.11 earlier in the year. It’s not a rapid jump, but it reflects consistent accumulation by those who see value in its infrastructure. The project’s focus on remittances and micro-payments means it is solving a real need, particularly in regions where low-cost transfers matter.

For those wondering what is the best crypto to invest in with lower risk and stronger fundamentals, Stellar provides a reliable choice.

3. PEPE: Meme Coin With Short-Term Firepower

When considering what is the best crypto to invest in for traders seeking volatility, PEPE holds its place. Earlier this month, it surprised many with a 68% surge after being added to Binance Futures and gaining traction on TikTok.

At $0.0000011, PEPE is far from its peaks in 2023, but its strong community and daily trading volumes keep it alive. Meme coins like PEPE offer high potential for short-term rallies, but the risks are just as sharp.

For anyone asking what is the best crypto to invest in with quick upside, PEPE may appeal, but only with the awareness that losses can be equally steep.

4. Shiba Inu: Expanding Beyond Its Meme Roots

Shiba Inu continues to prove why it belongs in the talk around what is the best crypto to invest in during 2025. The team recently upgraded Shibarium, cutting gas fees by more than 40% and speeding up transactions. This development pushed SHIB’s price from $0.000017 to $0.000023 in just two weeks.

SHIB is no longer tied to being just a meme play. Its ecosystem now includes DeFi tools, NFT projects, and ties with gaming platforms. That expansion is helping it shift toward a more utility-focused future.

For those still wondering what is the best crypto to invest in that combines brand power with ecosystem growth, Shiba Inu stands as a strong candidate.

Final Thoughts: Narrowing Down the Choices

So, what is the best crypto to invest in this August 2025? Each project caters to different goals. Stellar is steady with cross-border growth, PEPE thrives on meme-driven energy, and SHIB expands its ecosystem beyond memes.

But BlockDAG is the standout. Its $395 million raise, 25.9 billion coins sold, and 3 million app users mining daily show adoption at scale. Add to that 19,500+ miners sold and a reduced price of just $0.0013, and it becomes clear why it tops the list.

For those still debating what is the best crypto to invest in, this mix offers both stability and speculation. Yet only BlockDAG shows how accessibility and utility can merge into one powerful package.
