<p>Bitcoin is holding a key support zone after recent volatility tested the lower boundary of its ongoing uptrend. At press time, BTC was trading at <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$113,764</a>, down 0.47% for the day, after bouncing near $112,344.&nbsp;</p>
<p>A dotted ascending trendline from April has provided additional structure, aligning with the SuperTrend support now positioned at $113,386. A daily close below it could change sentiment toward sellers. Meanwhile, the nearest resistance is at $124,000, where Bitcoin previously failed to break higher earlier this month.</p>
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-support-and-resistance-levels-strong"><strong>Support and Resistance Levels&nbsp;</strong></h2>
<p><a href="https://cryptofrontnews.com/btc-breakdown-deepens-price-slips-under-wedge/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin’s nearest support is between $112,000 and $113,000</a>, supported by both horizontal levels and the SuperTrend indicator at $112,845. Price recently broke above this range in July, rallying toward $124,000 before retreating.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The retest now turns this zone into a crucial validation area. If bulls hold the level, Bitcoin can consolidate before re-testing $118,000 to $120,000. Failure to hold above $112,000, however, can cause a drop down to $108,000 and potentially lower support of $100,000–104,000.</p>
<p>The overall structure remains intact if and only if Bitcoin holds the uptrend line. This dotted line, drawn from April, has marked the overall bullish direction despite <a href="https://cryptofrontnews.com/bitcoin-corrective-trend-deepens-as-112k-zone-emerges-as-key-turning-point/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">short term corrective pressure</a>. Testing this area has also coincided with buy signals on the SuperTrend indicator, further emphasizing its importance for traders.</p>
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-technical-indicators-suggest-corrective-pressure-strong"><strong>Technical Indicators Suggest Corrective Pressure</strong></h2>
<p>Momentum signals currently favor caution. The RSI is at 42.99, below the neutral 50 mark, while the moving average line is higher at 52.61. This downward divergence points to bearish momentum. RSI is approaching oversold levels but still allows potential for further downside.</p>

<p>The MACD has also crossed into negative levels, with the MACD line at -220.59 and the signal line at 423.21. The histogram deepened to -643.80, confirming increasing selling pressure. These indicators show momentum changing away from buyers in the short term.</p>
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-price-action-and-volume-trends-strong"><strong>Price Action and Volume Trends&nbsp;</strong></h2>
<p><a href="https://cryptofrontnews.com/bitcoin-analysts-say-all-eyes-on-112000/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin's recent price behavior</a> has been consolidation after a multi-month uptrend from March levels of approximately $65,000–70,000 to $120,000. The range today is $113,623 to $114,819, with limited intraday activity.</p>
<p>Volume levels have been lower compared to past bullish rallies, pointing to weaker activity. This aligns with ongoing consolidation and reduced momentum. If volume increases near support, the probability of a rebound improves. However, fading activity may extend corrective moves before new strength emerges.</p>
