Bitcoin (BTC) surged past the $107,000 mark in the last 24 hours, recording a 0.2% price increase. The asset’s daily trading volume topped $30.9 billion, pushing its market capitalization to over $2.1 trillion. This latest movement reinforces BTC’s dominance amid shifting market conditions. 
However, not all major cryptocurrencies<a href="https://www.coingecko.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> followed BTC’s upward path during the same 24-hour period</a>, as Ethereum (ETH) declined by 0.2%, slipping to $2,582.32 as its momentum cooled. Despite high trading activity of over $24.8 billion, the dip highlights a temporary retreat from recent gains.

Another coin that saw a minor decline was <a href="https://36crypto.com/bitcoin-soars-above-106k-as-ethereum-and-solana-lead-altcoin-comeback/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Solana (SOL), which declined by 0.1</a> and was traded at $153.54. This slight decline occurs after a recent, sustained increase in volume earlier in the week and indicates slight profit-taking among traders.Dogecoin (DOGE) followed this pattern, continuing to fall by about 0.2%, slipping to approximately $0.1738 within the 24‑hour period. The decline in meme coins is an indication of a halt in the powerful rallies in the last few days. 
In the meantime, the coin that could be considered a top performer was XRP (XRP), which gained 2.4 percent in 24 hours and topped the price, reaching 2.24. Market capitalization rose to more than 131.8 billion, and active trading backed this. BNB (BNB) posted a modest gain of 0.5%, trading at $658.15, while TRON (TRX) also moved higher by 2.0% to reach $0.2764.

In the altcoin space, several tokens posted significant 24-hour gains. Zeta (ZEX) surged 62.7% to $0.1907, with a daily trading volume of $9.2 million. Treasure (MAGIC) rose 41.2% to $0.1675, while MAGIC•INTERNET•MONEY (MIM) advanced 39.2% to $0.002176. 
AltLayer (ALT) jumped 35.3% to $0.03485, supported by over $392 million in volume. These sharp movements underline increased attention on high-volatility tokens over the past day. 
Bitcoin (BTC) led the market with steady gains, while Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Dogecoin (DOGE) slipped slightly. Traders are shifting focus to fast-moving altcoins as the market sees mixed action within the last 24 hours.
