If the search is on for the best crypto to buy now, the list goes beyond just the usual suspects like Bitcoin or Ethereum. This year is about coins backed by purpose, performance, and community growth. Investors are looking for real tech, active networks, and strong price potential. Four names gaining real attention in 2025 are BlockDAG, Hedera (HBAR), Injective (INJ), and Cosmos (ATOM).

These aren’t just trending cryptos; they come with key updates, working models, and real progress. From BlockDAG’s wild run to ATOM’s practical interchain goals, these projects bring both innovation and momentum. Here’s a breakdown of why each is considered among the best cryptos right now.

1. BlockDAG: Over 22.4B Coins Sold, $298M Raised & Still Climbing

BlockDAG is making big strides with its hybrid approach. It combines Bitcoin's security with DAG-based speed, allowing instant, parallel transactions. Developers also get an easy path here since it supports Ethereum smart contracts with low-code tools. For miners, it’s already popular, over a million users are involved, and more than 17,950 mining devices have been sold.

But here’s what catches the eye: the numbers. BlockDAG has raised $298 million. It has sold 22.4 billion coins so far. At $0.0276 in Batch 29, it has already delivered a 2,678% return for early buyers from Batch 1. That ROI jumps to 2,678% for anyone buying at the current frozen price of $0.0018, which is valid until June 13. With a confirmed $0.05 launch price, the profit window looks clear and wide.

The momentum isn’t just about price; it’s also the product. BlockDAG’s dashboard update, referral tools, and whale leaderboard features show it’s not standing still. With the GO LIVE reveal happening on June 13, this coin looks set to push even higher. All of this puts BlockDAG right at the top of the list when it comes to the best crypto right now.

2. Hedera (HBAR): Tech-Powered Speed for Big Business

Hedera keeps proving it’s more than just another coin. Built on hashgraph tech instead of traditional blockchain, it allows thousands of fast, secure transactions per second. It’s efficient, scalable, and supported by names like Google and IBM through the Hedera Governing Council.

HBAR is built for enterprise-level use, from digital IDs to payment systems. That’s why it’s stayed relevant and keeps drawing interest in 2025. It’s currently priced around $0.113 and has shown steady growth in both price and use cases. New updates and dApps are coming to its network, further boosting its value.

If the goal is to back coins with long-term potential and real-world application, Hedera is in that conversation. It’s one of the most popular crypto options for those focused on sustainable growth, making it a solid pick for the best crypto to buy now.

3. Injective (INJ): Powering Gas-Free DeFi Trading

Injective stands out in the DeFi space because it solves two big problems: speed and cost. This layer-1 blockchain supports a full range of trading tools, derivatives, spot trading, and synthetic assets, all while offering zero gas fees.

Its ecosystem is growing fast. INJ is currently priced near $25 and gaining traction as more projects build on its protocol. It’s also getting noticed for its cross-chain compatibility, helping it pull in users from other platforms.

As DeFi keeps growing in 2025, Injective is in the perfect spot. Its tech works, the trading tools are real, and the growth is steady. For investors focused on the DeFi sector, INJ is one of the best cryptos right now.

4. Cosmos (ATOM): Connecting Blockchains, Not Competing

Cosmos has a simple but powerful mission: to make it easier for blockchains to talk to each other. It’s doing that through its Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) system. This isn’t a theory; it’s live and being used.

More chains are joining the Cosmos network, and developers like its flexibility for building custom chains. The price of ATOM is around $8.46, and it’s trending upward as adoption grows. Its position in the market is growing stronger as businesses explore Web3 and need solutions that connect multiple networks.

Cosmos is a serious long-term project with proven use cases. That makes ATOM one of the most promising crypto picks and one of the best cryptos right now.

Best Crypto Right Now In the Market

In 2025, picking the best crypto to buy now means looking at actual progress, not just hype. BlockDAG brings massive ROI potential and clear use cases. HBAR delivers enterprise-level tools. INJ leads DeFi with real utility. ATOM creates cross-chain links with real-world adoption.

Whether planning short-term gains or long-term plays, these four projects offer a smart entry point into today’s most popular crypto coins. BlockDAG’s $298 million rise alone shows how fast things can move. But each of these cryptos has something to offer. Real use, real users, and real momentum. Keep them on your radar.
