Story Protocol has announced a partnership with Oxford University on a research initiative to advance AI agent communication and negotiation capabilities.&nbsp;
The <a href="https://x.com/StoryProtocol/status/1896940013847544261" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">collaboration</a> will focus on improving clarity in <a href="https://crypto.news/tag/ai" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">AI</a> interactions and optimizing agent-to-agent negotiations, with developments feeding into Story’s Agent TCP/IP framework.
Agent TCP/IP is designed to facilitate AI-driven transactions of intellectual property, enabling autonomous agents to exchange, license, and manage digital assets.&nbsp;
By integrating research from Oxford, <a href="https://crypto.news/price/story/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Story</a> aims to refine how AI agents communicate, ensuring smoother and more transparent exchanges.
“We are able to accelerate towards a future where AI agents can collaborate and exchange IP autonomously,” Story stated.&nbsp;

It allows creators to register various forms of IP — such as images, songs, real-world assets, and AI training data — and specify usage terms, facilitating decentralized and programmable IP management.&nbsp;

The collaboration included a project to digitize public domain materials from the Bodleian Libraries, making historic dissertations accessible online.
