The AI hype is coming down from its peak, but AI agent tokens are still the most accumulated asset from DEXs. As prices fall from their peaks, accumulation resumes with expectations of more rallies and developments.
The AI agent market is down from its peak valuation above $17B, but accumulation shows the potential for new rallies. In the past month, the selection of top AI agents became popular, and most of the assets are flowing back into whale portfolios. The accumulation arrives just days after whales pointed their attention to meme tokens, accumulating the most promising assets.
Buy volumes point to accumulation for some of the AI agents that previously grabbed community attention. Some of the AI tokens also follow the launch platform narrative, or offer future developments and value. AI frameworks are also trending, as users seek more tools to build responsive AI agents to serve utility tasks.

The top buy volumes concentrated on AI16Z, ZEREBRO, AIXBT, and AVA. Buying volumes range from $30M to $9M, as the AI agent space tried to stay afloat. The accumulation may be spread to all types of wallets, as they try to buy the hot assets at a lower price range.
The accumulation of AIXBT preceded the launch of a Binance spot trading pair. Most of the prominent AI tokens await additional listings and expanded liquidity, as whales try to load up before trading accelerates.

Binance’s influence on AI space may grow, as the exchange aims to aggregate and curate all new decentralized developments. Other top AI tokens are also highly active in expectation of gaining futures or spot markets on Binance, or at least a selection for Binance Alpha.
The memetic potential of FARTCOIN is still not forgotten, as traders are buying the dip at $0.89. The tokens offer a mix of cyclical developments and short-term rallies, as well as expectations for a bigger influence of the AI agent space.
AI agent tokens are attempting to differentiate themselves from other categories, as the market splits for different classes of tokens. The most accumulated older agents are also a different set from the currently hot and trending tokens. The newer AI assets with a shorter history are still seeing more speculative activity and larger breakouts.

Attention shifts from Virtuals platform to other frameworks

The liquidity for AI narrative tokens may be shifting as Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL) slides from its peak. Traders searching for ‘up only’ tokens are moving to AI frameworks, where AI16Z is also the leader.
The shift for AI projects also comes from a search for real use cases. While Virtuals Protocol was a success, the proliferation of AI agent replies and content was not sufficient to ensure growth. AI frameworks are trying to offer more types of tasks that can be handed over to agents, including on-chain actions.
VIRTUAL slid from its highs above $5, recently trading near a one-week low of $3.02. The token was one of the drivers of growth, which is now shifting to other promising platforms. Trending assets are once again seeing a mix of rollovers to older trades, as well as formerly obscure tokens finally breaking out.

Pippin (PIPPIN) breaks out as a new AI-based community

One of the key factors for AI agents is to create an appealing image to retain a community. Pippin (PIPPIN) offers a conflict-free, mass appeal platform, which has been accumulating buyers on Solana for months.
The token may become a part of the usual rotation of AI assets, as whales move in to buy the dip. PIPPIN has accrued more than 24K holders, and is represented both among AI memes and whole AI frameworks.
Under the cover of the simple meme, PIPPIN also offers an AI framework to create multi-task digital entities. Unlike Virtuals Protocol, PIPPIN hopes to build more original agents, performing tasks for their end user.
The Pippin framework uses BabyAGI for training new entities. The focus is on building a personality and memory, while also connecting to external tools. PIPPIN trended after a search for new AI tools that could start trading or performing on-chain actions. The project also attracts developers to add new knowledge modules and evolve the AI agent tasks.
