<h3 id="1-arbitrum-s-ssf-opens-for-applications">1. Arbitrum’s SSF Opens for Applications</h3> 
<p>Today, September 30, applications open for the Security Subsidy Fund (SSF) offering up to $2.5 million in subsidies for new and the existing Arbitrum ecosystem.</p> 
<p>Arbitrum made the<a href="https://x.com/arbitrum/status/1838456119301410869" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> announcement</a> via X on September 24, saying that ArbitrumDAO initiatives are helping builders make Arbitrum their home.</p>

<p>Over the course of operations, the SSF will reportedly distribute from an allocation of up to $2.5 million worth of ARB to subsidize the cost of approved security services for applicable projects within the Arbitrum ecosystem.</p> 
<p>Applicants to the SSF will be evaluated against the requirements by the <a href="https://adpc.notion.site/ADPC-Security-Subsidy-Fund-6e64a22f4e264a87bd858951b624740d" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">ADPC</a>‘s Means Test. The means test involves a structured approach to evaluating applications.</p> 
<p>Successful applicants will be eligible to receive subsidized security services from the 9 whitelisted security service providers for the Arbitrum DAO. All projects in need of security services were encouraged to apply.</p> 
<p>The application process runs starting today, until 23:59 UTC on October 14.</p> 
<h3 id="2-shardeum-l1-s-3rd-phase-launch">2. Shardeum L1’s 3rd Phase Launch</h3> 
<p>The third phase of the Shardeum L1 blockchain’s incentivized testnet, Atomium will launch tomorrow, October 1.</p> 
<p><a href="https://shardeum.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Shardeum</a>, the EVM-based autoscaling blockchain allows for the community to run the nodes, and its auto-scalability features means exponential growth.</p> 
<p>The Atomium testnet launch follows the successful completion of the first two stages, which saw participation from more than 540,000 users, including 11,000 validators. The process facilitated over 5 million transactions.</p> 
<p>Stage 3 of the Atomium Incentivized Testnet is expected to run for 3-4 weeks, longer compared to the previous stages. This will reflect the developments that the testnet has made so far.</p> 
<p>Users’ participation is vital in helping the project fine-tune and stabilize the network, according to an official Shardeum announcement.</p>

<p>The<a href="https://shardeum.org/blog/incentivized-testnet-stage-3/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"> Stage 3</a> quest campaign allows users to extensively stress-test the following:</p>

<h3 id="3-countdown-for-eigenlayer-s-secure-wallet-submission-solution">3. Countdown for EigenLayer’s Secure Wallet Submission Solution</h3> 
<p>The re-staking protocol EigenLayer announced a new secure wallet submission solution for operators. The addresses have to be submitted by October 6.</p> 
<p>On September 24, the Eigen Foundation <a href="https://x.com/eigenfoundation/status/1838663173328736741" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">announced</a> that their secure wallet submission solution went live. Users can securely provide a new wallet address via their smart contract, without the need to connect their operator wallet to the claims site.</p> 
<p>The submitted wallet can claim the operator stakedrop token allocation from the claims site. The last day for submitting addresses is October 6.</p> 
<h3 id="4-eigenlayer-eigen-tge-and-distribution">4. EigenLayer (EIGEN) – TGE and Distribution</h3> 
<p>EigenLayer’s TGE (token generation event) is <a href="https://icodrops.com/eigenlayer/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">scheduled</a> for today, September 30. Binance <a href="https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/binance-will-list-eigenlayer-eigen-with-seed-tag-applied-29494a3db1034233b65522b9e122d079?hl=en" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">will list</a> EigenLayer (EIGEN) tomorrow, October 1, with the Seed Tag applied.</p> 
<h3 id="5-upcoming-uniswap-v4-launch">5. Upcoming Uniswap V4 Launch</h3> 
<p>Uniswap v4’s launch should take place this week since it was postponed for Q3 and it hadn’t launched yet.</p> 
<p>According to an official Uniswap<a href="https://x.com/UniswapFND/status/1758146187318669666" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> post</a> via X, v4 should be the most rigorously audited code ever deployed on Ethereum.</p> 
<p>Its roadmap included the following:</p> 
<ol> 
 <li>Phase 1 – Code Freeze: Including core code completion, testing, gas optimizations, security enhancements, and finalizing the periphery.</li> 
 <li>Phase 2 – Auditing and Testnet: Including comprehensive auditing by multiple audit firms, and a community audit contest, along with the final adjustments to the code.</li> 
 <li>Phase 3 – Launch Push: v4 was pushed to Mainnet ETH in Q3 and should launch this week, but it’s not certain yet.</li> 
</ol> 
<p>Uniswap v4 will introduce a flash accounting system, allowing users to chain multiple actions in one transaction. These actions include swapping and adding liquidity.</p> 
<p>The system tracks token balances via the transaction and will ensure that all debts are settled. If this is not the case, the transaction is reversed – this would cut gas costs and boost efficiency.</p> 
<p><a href="https://crypto.ro/en/news/8-reasons-to-be-bullish-on-crypto-in-q4/">Q4</a> is about to begin and these are only some of the most important bullish events to watch at its debut.</p>
