The SEC has remained quiet over the ruling and whether it will appeal or not. The judge has ordered Ripple to comply with securities law going forward and without any injunction on selling XRP to institutional investors. So Ripple can get back to using XRP for ODL until and unless the SEC does not decide to challenge it.
There’s a 50-50 chance that the SEC might decide to appeal at the very last minute, which will further complicate things regarding the growth of Ripple’s ODL in the US.
Ripple (XRP) has been currently facing winds of volatility along the broader crypto market. At the press time, XRP is trading for $0,5919, facing a 2.1% price dip in the past 24 hours, while facing a 2% surge in the past seven days. XRP has to overcome the strong $0.65 resistance level to see a significant price rally.
