<p class="p1" style="text-align: justify">Layer-1 network <strong>Avalanche</strong> and Layer-2 network zkSync’s official Discord servers were hit by hack attacks less than 48 hours after Polygon’s Discord was compromised. On August 25, Avalanche’s official account shared on X that its Discord server was compromised and urged users not to interact with any links.</p>

<p class="p1" style="text-align: justify">According to screenshots shared by Avalanche Discord members on X, the attackers sent several links to fake distribution schemes for Avalanche, claiming that owners and community members could claim free <strong>AVAX</strong>. An hour later, Avalanche’s community leader Ben Well wrote that the Avalanche team had found and resolved the issue. He added that the team was working to restore the server to normal. However, just an hour after the Avalanche breach, zkSync’s official Discord was also reported to be compromised.</p> 
<h2 class="p1" style="text-align: justify" id="fetch-ai-team-takes-notable-step">Fetch AI Team Takes Notable Step</h2> 
<p class="p1" style="text-align: justify">On August 23, the decentralized machine learning platform <strong>Fetch.ai</strong> announced the launch of a new innovation center to advance artificial intelligence, a technology that continues to merge with blockchain applications.</p> 
<p class="p1" style="text-align: justify">The new Innovation Lab will be located in San Francisco, California, and will support startups working on technology that uses AI to perform specific tasks for users. The company announced that it would allocate $10 million annually to projects related to AI tool technology. Fetch.ai CEO Humayun Sheikh shared the following statement:</p>

The new solution, Proof-of-Ink, will allow users to prove their digital individuality through a unique tattoo that serves as proof of digital citizenship while preserving privacy.</p> 
<p class="p1" style="text-align: justify">According to Wood, co-founder of <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/uncertainty-continues-in-the-crypto-market-what-is-the-current-situation-of-ethereum-eth/" data-wpel-link="internal">Ethereum</a>, Polkadot, and Kusama, Proof-of-Ink will be released in the fourth quarter of 2024. Wood announced the following in his keynote speech at the Web3 Summit in Berlin:</p>
