Ripple has <a href="https://x.com/RippleXDev/status/1818831692829757710" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">invested</a> $10 million in tokenized U.S. Treasury bills (T-bills), which are scheduled to be introduced on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). Ripple’s funds will be transferred to TBILL tokens via the OpenEden tokenization platform, according to the announcement that was made public on Thursday.&nbsp;
These tokens are a digital representation of T-bills, a type of short-term debt that the United States government issues. The tokens’ fundamental assets will be invested in short-dated U.S. Treasuries and reverse repurchase agreements (repos), which are securities that are sold with a commitment to repurchase them at a later date for a higher price.
