<p>The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved nine spot <a href="https://cryptonewsland.com/sec-approves-ethereum-spot-etfs-for/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Ethereum (ETH) Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF)</a> applications. SEC also officially confirmed Ethereum is still not a security. Coinbase is a custodian of 8 of the 9 approved spot Ethereum ETFs. This decision is a forward step in expanding access to Ethereum and diversifying the crypto economy.</p>
