Meme coins are currently the top performers in the crypto market. In recent market dips and recoveries, meme coins have outperformed other sectors. Data shows that over the past month, meme coins have consistently led the market, followed by AI, DeFi, L1, and L2 sectors, with L2s being the only altcoins in the negative.
Analyst Miles Deutscher said that when Bitcoin surged from $54K to $67K recently, meme coins bounced the hardest. Performers include Mew with a 92% increase, and other cat-themed coins like Popcat and MOG. He said that this trend shows meme coins as the strongest sector, showing competition and outperformance. Here is a list of top coins:
Pepe: Pepe is a frog-themed meme coin that has shown great performance, delivering a 60x return since its initial investment. It once saw a 50x market cap increase, rising from $100 million to $5 billion. With its growing recognition and popularity, Pepe is still viewed as having a 5-10x potential this cycle as retail interest continues to grow.
Whiff : Whiff, the leading dog-themed meme coin on the Solana blockchain, is recommended as a solid choice within the meme coin market. Holding Whiff as a spot investment is considered a sound strategy.
Popcat: Popcat is a leading cat-themed meme coin that has shown major growth, nearing the $1 billion market cap mark. For potential investors, the analyst advised to consider buying Popcat on major retests of key support levels or on a breakout above the $1 billion psychological barrier, indicating strong market confidence.
Mog: Another notable cat-themed meme coin, MOG, has drawn attention for its impressive performance. MOG’s continued rise signals its strength within the meme coin sector.
Mew: Mew is gaining major traction in the Korean market and is another valuable cat-themed meme coin. Investors should wait for market cooldowns to identify entry points. Mew’s growing popularity and strong trading volumes suggest it is an important contender in the meme coin space.
